Dr Lewinn's Private Formula Renunail Nail Strengthener 30 ml

I' ve had problems with splitting and peeling nails for ages - not the greatest disaster in the world, I know, but they would get snagged on clothes, and everything, rip and become sore. I'd tried SO many products, then saw this here on Amazon. It IS quite expensive but ignore that because this IS good stuff, which WORKS, so it is worth the extra outlay !.I have only 2 negative comments to offer -1) when applied the nails can look a little greyish, but underneath they are getting better !.2) The application procedure for this is simple, and easy to do, BUT mathematically the makers figures of a 25 day " course " just don't add up - and I'm an Accountant so CAN add up, and multiply !. I contacted the Dr Lewinn site direct about this aspect ,but heard nothing in response.Never mind - I now have nails the length I choose, rather than how long they would grow before flaking etc., and I used to HAVE to wear clear nail varnish to offer some protection - now I don't have to !.Highly recommended !.POSTSCRIPT:-I still rate the efficiency of this product in fulfilling it's advertising, and VERY highly at that, BUT unfortunately I have found that - apart from the very first 3 week " program " - after which my nails DID look fab - that I am allergic to one ( or more or a combination ) of the ingredients, and that just touching my face with nails wearing this causes redness, itching and swelling !!!.

My nails were peeling and I was unable to grow them for the last few years (having had lovely long nails up until my mid 40s). I guess the change may have been due to changes in hormones? I wanted to wait until I had given this product an opportunity to work before I wrote a review. I used it for four weeks (applied two coats on first day of the week, then one coat for the next five, took it off on the sixth day evening and started again on day seven morning). I found that from the first application, my nails were harder and did not break off. My nails looked in good condition and I was even asked whether I was wearing gel nails (as the more coats you apply, nails take on an attractive opaque appearance). The instructions say that this product is not designed for continuous use, however it does say on the dr lewinns website that you can use this product as a base coat. I now use two coats as a base for coloured nail polish and my nails continue to grow stronger. I have recommended it to friends who are equally pleased with their results. I have tried other products in the past (nail varnishes, creams, change of diet etc) which have not worked, so please don't waste your money on alternatives as this product is superb.

I must have tried every single nail strengthener on the market. All the well known major brands and some less well known and none of them made any real difference to my nails.Then I tried this and it actually worked! Okay, my nails are not film star perfect, but they are 100% better than they were before I started using this and are now at a length I can wear nail polish and be proud of them.The only thing I did find was that the instructions tell you to use this for around 3 weeks or so and then have a week or two off. I found when I tried this, my nails deteriorated immediately I stopped using it. So I am afraid I wear it the whole time (no adverse effect and have been doing this for a couple of years!).Well worth trying.

Have used this product for years, started in Australia. Leaves your nails healthy and strong.At the moment ,can’t get the product ,Amazon have you got a new supply in yet?

Easy to order, delivery faster than anticipated and product easy to apply. Difficult to assess how effective the product is because I have only been using it for ten days. My nails are in such a poor state that I would like the opportunity to review the product again in a month's time.

As a MAN with 'spltting nails' I had been struggling to find a product that did any good [and didn't leave me with 'lovely shiny nails' for people to keep asking about!] but saw this reviewed in an in-flight magazine - ie: NOT an advert. I took the plunge and ordered it and, after a few months, can report that IT REALLY DOES WORK !! I've followed the instrustions to the letter - especially about when to 'rest' my nails - and, after about 4 months, I now only have two nails that aren't quite cleared up - and I'm confident they'll be OK soon. Oh, and my teenage daughter has 'pinched it' a couple of times, after breaking a nail, and she too says it works !

I have bought this several times as it seems to work for a time. As soon as nails get to any length, they split and crack as before.

I started to use this product 12 months ago, some of my nails were split and a bit weak. I followed the instructions to the letter and amazingly after about three months treatment, nails were looking pretty glam, splits were healed and nails long and strong. I just used the Renunail at first, then ordered the oil after a time, which is lovely. I would highly recommend these products to anyone with difficult nails. The bottle is rather expensive but there is a lot of it and it has lasted nearly a year. This is my first ever review, however I am so impressed with the products I had to spread the word. I don't spend my money on any other nail strengtheners now.
