While I have a large crystal cabinet packed with some of the best crystal glasses money can buy, they simply aren’t suitable for everyday use. I do prefer a light, thinner glassware, but have burnt many times with such glassware. Most recently, I found a set I really liked, but I threw my money away. The first 2 broke after the second trip to the dishwasher when I simply lifted them out of the dishwasher. The next shattered when I was taking a spoon out of it and the spoon gently tapped the rim. The 4th in the set broke a few days later. So, I resigned myself to a much heavier and weightier glass for everyday use. They were holding up excellently, so went to order a second set, when I came across these amazing glasses. I figured the description was mostly hype, but desperate to again have a lighter glass, I decided to give them a try. The set of 4 arrived and, per other reviews, they were packaged beautifully. When I took them out of their box, I immediately figured I was doomed. They were thin and light, to the point that I figured they had to be a very high-quality plastic. But, I was wrong – they are definitely glass. I gave them about a week or two before I figured they would all be broken. Again, I was wrong. After three washings, they were all still intact and looking beautiful. But, I was still skeptical, that is until last night. Being a clumsy oaf (why I don’t use the good crystal every day) and spun around in my seat and bashed the glass with my arm. Off the table it flew and proceeded to hit the hardwood floor, bouncing three times before finally coming to rest. Afraid to look at the mess, I was ready to head off to get the broom to clean up all the tiny pieces and shards of glass. But wait – the glass didn’t break. No chips, cracks or damage of any kind. I was shocked and within 2 minutes was online to order a second set. Quite simply they exceeded even the manufacturer’s hype. Besides checking out more styles for my use, they have jumped to the top of my gift-giving list. It takes a lot to get me to write this stellar of a review, but these glasses are definitely worth it. The absolute best everyday glassware I have ever owned!

I love the look of these, they look very classy/stylish and they don’t break! My child literally threw one and not a single chip. They are a little smaller than I wanted them to be but I don’t mind because they’re great quality and look great. They’re very light too.

These have a nice feel, are lightweight and good quality. However, to get 14 oz into it you have to pour very carefully til the surface of the water rises above the top. The surface tension of the water may prevent spilling, but you can't lift it without spilling.

These are the perfect size. They’re sturdy, yet lightweight. The glass is thick and the design is flawless. I love the packaging and the little notes that come in the box, too!

I ordered these to replace my large and substantial but boring Duralex Picardie French glassware. I wanted a tropical/modern vibe for my everyday glassware that could also be used for cocktails. The glasses are much thinner than my Flamingo lowballs and Vintage Pineapple glassware from same seller. I hope they do not break.. However the price is much better than similar thin glassware ( for Collins drinks ) at West Elm. They are great also for their dual purpose, but recommend other styles

It’s a really cute set, I gave them as a gift for my office’s secret Santa event, she totally loved them for her bar.

Lightweight but durable.

This set of Mykonos highball glassware is in a class of its own! First, as other reviewers have noted, the packaging is as exquisite as the product inside, so yes, in this case, you can judge a book by its cover! I think this set of glasses would make a perfect housewarming gift (or any other special occasion), especially for lazy people like me who hate giftwrapping but want my gifts to have a beautiful presentation.The glasses themselves have a fabulous look and feel to them. I have an eclectic assortment of glassware in my home, and every piece, regardless of its price tag, has an interesting and unusual texture. The Mykonos glasses are no exception, with their wonderful, textural ribs providing a most elegant and enjoyable surface to grip while you sip. I have a modern, minimalist vibe in my home, so these glasses fit right in, although they would probably fit in anywhere!As promised in their description, these glasses can be safely chilled in the freezer, and after just a few minutes of chilling, are frosted to perfection. (See photo.) I also appreciate that they are dishwasher safe.I honestly can't imagine anyone giving these glasses less than a 5 star rating, and I'm sure I will be ordering additional sets to give as gifts. I feel that they are quite reasonably priced for a set of 4 plus the gift box, which I have decided to save and use for their storage. (It's just too pretty to throw away!)
