I'm an enthusiast watch collector, and love unique, yet attractive/classic styles. The GUANKE Men's Colorful Wooden Week & Date Display "BOBO BIRD" watch is my second from this company. It's a great value and comes in an attractive wooden case with brass-style switch latch. While it fit me right out of the box, it comes with additional parts and a tool if you need to perfectly match it to your wrist. Once set, it keeps track of the day of the week and date on the watch face. The multi-color band is especially striking.It's my second "wooden" watch, and it likely won't be my last. It is comfortable and lightweight on the wrist, yet feels built to last. It compliments a number of my outfits. Thus far the Quartz movement has kept perfect time. I know of a number of people who might like this style of "natural" watch, so with it's affordable price and impressive presentation, it would make a great gift. Recommended!~ Kort

My wife got this for me for Valentines day. I was worried when I got it, because based on the watch's look, I thought she had spent a lot of money on it. The watch looks expensive. It's a big watch, but very lightweight due to being made of wood. If I had to gripe about one thing - the pins are VERY difficult to get out of the links. I had to remove links in order for it to fit my wrist, and I broke the tool that the watch came with. My theory is that the wood shrunk around the pins.

Basic Japanese Quartz, but most people who aren't watch aficionado's will simply say 'hey wow that's a neat looking watch!'. It grabs the eye because it's wood and not your average looking watch. Definitely has personality and I've gotten a ton of compliments on this piece since I got it.It's quickly becoming my (almost) daily wearer because it's light weight, goes with most of my outfits, and if something happens to it I'm not concerned because I didn't spend a fortune on it. It's really a fantastic watch and it keeps the month date and weekday very well with minimal adjustments. I had to tinker with it a little bit to get familiar since it was going to the next day by the afternoon, so I just realized that I had it on P.M. and had to move it back to A.M. and it's stayed accurate since!Also - I'm a big boy with thick wrists and I had to add one of the spare links they give you so that it wasn't tight on me, but the little tool provided made that pretty easy.

Okay here's the deal. For the price, it's a no brainier. This watch looks so cool, I love it. Yes it looks awesome and unique. Is it durable, time will tell but I am always cautious in how I remove and put it on. Will it break? That's why I am cautious and it is still in perfect condition. Are you the type who abuse and bang it around a little, then don't get it. Well because it's so cheap, you can break it and buy another one so win win.

I can't believe how good this watch looks. Like many of the wood watches you shouldn't expect to see the face at night. I like the weekday counter, but it gets weird for Wednesday to Thursday. The multicolored wood bits are very eye catching. Like my other wood watch, I have received many complements. Oh, and the price fluctuates quite frequently for this watch. When I purchased it, it was $32.99. I have seen it for a little more, but never over $40 and recently I have seen it drop to $28.99. Really as long as you are getting it for no more than $40 then you are getting a good deal on a great watch.Edit: I remembered to take a photo of the weirdness that happens with the weekday counter. There was another day this week that none of the day's had been marked. Next time that happens I will snap a pic and add it to this review.

I love this watch. I get so many compliments when I wear it. It is very lightweight and has held up quite well with occasional wear. I don't think you'd want this as a daily wear watch, but as an occasional fashion watch it is a very good value. ***UPDATE*** Aug2024 - This watch has held up very well. It isn't my daily wear watch, but it has lasted a few years now and still looks and operates like it did on Day 1. This was a very good purchase at the price point and I STILL get a lot of compliments when I wear it.
