Fits perfectly and compliments the Z FC camera. In fact, the grip material is better than the grip material on the camera, and the bottom that connects to the camera is actual metal unlike the camera bottom which is made of plastic.

I was finding my new Nikon Zfc to be a bit hard to handle, as it didn't have a front grip that I was used to with my other cameras. After installing this grip, my camera now feels very nice in the hand and the texture removes any chance of slippage. It was extremely easy to install and feels very sturdy. The color/texture matches the camera, keeping the old-style aesthetic.

First, I am still in love with my Nikon Z fc, partially because it is a great non-pro camera, and partially because of the nostalgia and similarity to the beautiful 1980 Nikon FE that I still have.BUT... Even though I understand and respect that one holds a camera like this differently than modern Mirrorless and DSLRs, the ergonomics and drop-risk inherent in the design present a constant uneasiness. Then I stumbled on this L-Bracket and the company SmallRig, and I must say that it is PERFECT -- a game changer for using this camera, and I couldn't be happier with the pair.It respects the Nikon design, maintains the beauty, while making using the camera MUCH better and more secure. Additional bonuses are the built-in Arca Swiss mount, perfect for my SmallRig Ball Head, and the cold shoe which will provide a better place for my microphone when shooting video.Would recommend to anyone who has the Nikon Z fc. My Nikon Zfc is so much easier to hold and use after adding this grip. I was surprised by the build quality and how it blends right in with the camera. It doesn't look cheap and most people wouldn't even be able to tell that this is an addon. It looks like a part of the camera.This is a great product that greatly improved the usability of the camera. I highly recommend it.

I left it on because it seems like it was always meant to be there. Easier to grab and carry and hold.

This grip is everything it says it is. It was designed specifically for use with the Nikon Zfc. Battery door still opens when mounted as advertised. Gives a little extra security while holding your Zfc. There is a cold shoe mount on the bottom (bold choice in my opinion but I kind of like it) the grip integrates perfectly with the small rig tripod and the dovetail mount system. The best part is it is extremely light but also strong (maybe made from magnesium like the Nikon body?). And there are 2 1/4-20 mount holes for tripod/accessory mounting if you don't use the small rig system.

The grip installed easily on the bottom of my Nikon Zfc. The base is a sideways-inserting ARCA Swiss plate — very convenient. The recess for the battery/SD Card door is well placed and does not interfere with its operation.I had this Zfc hooked up to a Sigma 150-600 Sport (which is a beast of a lens) via a FTZ adapter. Though no sane person will attempt to carry the setup with the camera, the grip was certainly great to keep a form hold on the Zfc while turning the stuff zoom ring.The grip certainly adds a great deal of usability to the slim-bodied Zfc, and blends in with the aesthetic very nicely, without taking away from the retro vibe that the Zfc exudes.

I have several Nikon cameras and one of my favorites is the Z fc, but like the cameras of old it is difficult to hold onto without a hand grip. This is absolutely an essential item if you own a Z fc as it has not only a grip but several other features such as tripod mounting holes and clamp ridges, also it is relatively inexpensive.

I bought the Z fc a few months ago. I don't have big hands, and even I felt it a little awkward to hold onto. I am used to my DSLRs that have a substantial "grip" section. I saw a few different versions of this grip by different manufacturers, but the SmallRig seems to be the most robust.I've been using it for a month or so, and it really completes the Z fc experience. I like that it also sort of protects the (somewhat flimsy) battery/SD card door. I have had no trouble using it with my tripod, either.

Como comentan muchos, es un accesorio que resulta casi imprescindible para esta cámara, pues mejora bastante el agarre, el grip además de imitar un poco el acabado negro que tiene la cámara, tiene una textura más gomosa que hace que realmente puedas sostener la cámara sin que se te resbale.La instalación es muy fácil, es solamente acomodar la base de la cámara a la plataforma metálica del grip y por medio de un tornillo que tiene una rondanita en forma de C, girarlo con los dedos (no se ocupan herramientas) hasta donde tope y queda ya instalado.
