Everybody Potties - An I Can Do It Children's Board Book, Potty Training

Overall concept of the book is good. Simple sentences are used and are developmentally appropriate for the ages that would be using this book (2.5 - 4).Minor issues with this book though (purely from a personal standpoint): in the beginning of the book, they list "mommies, Daddies, and Grandmas" as being people that use the potty. If you're going to list a grandparent, you ought to include both...."Tell someone you've got to go {potty}!". That sentence, for me, is missing the word potty. "Got to go" is a vague concept for kids at this age. Clear-cut sentences that tell them exactly what needs to happen are essential at this age."Sit till you go-" again, vague. Be specific; 'sit on the potty until you go pee or poo' etc.Essentially, I add words to the book or change the language to help my child through this process.While the aforementioned issues are purely "would be better if" for me, I will say that the art in the book is not overwhelming; it's simple, which is good for the age-range targeted within this book.

Super cute - wasn't crazy about the rhyme at first but apparently my brain doesn't work like a 2 year old. I sent the book back after reading it a few times and didn't think it was really helping with our potty training journey, only for my daughter to sit only the toilet the very next day and start RECITING THE BOOK WORD FOR WORD! She knew like 3 whole pages by heart. Too late to cancel the return, but she still 'reads' the book aloud when she sits down to go potty... and we all say EVERYBODY POTTIES! and cheer. So I do recommend this!!

I run a Day Care, my children love this book. I read it every day to help with potty training. Easy to understand, nice pictures. One of the best books I bought for potty training. Kids love it.

Some potty books seem to be novels, which are silly for a 2 year old who doesn't have the kind of patience for lengthy character dialog. This one is perfect with a catchy rhyme and a fun saying "Everybody Potties!" throughout. My daughter loves to shout "Hooray!" and "Everybody Potties!" as she "reads it", or as I read it to her. It takes kids through the idea that everybody (mommy, daddy, grandmas, and other big kids) go potty. It tells them that when they get the feeling to go, let someone know and find a potty before it's too late. And reminds them to stay on the potty til they go, and wash up afterwards. A great potty training book!

Super cute. We got this to help encourage my 15-month-old's interest in the potty. It worked! She will carry the book over to her potty and sit on it and read it. She also just enjoys reading it. The book is short and the rhymes are kind of funny as an adult - my husband had to stop laughing the first few times we read it. Happy so far!

The quality of the book is great. The story is awful. It isn’t catchy, educational or relatable for my 22mo old. If you are getting this for potty training, I recommend any of the traditional books over this one.Also we had another book about a little octopus going to bed and that book is adorable, catchy and fun to read with her. This one was just a straight disappointment.

Love this book. Perfect for reading to my LO as she sits on the potty. It's got a nice rhyme, and I can change a few of the words to my own and it doesn't mess with the rhyme (tinkle to pee), stuff like that, since it's not at the end of a line.It's short, but hits the important stuff. Like telling someone when you have to go."Who goes tinkle? Who goes poo? Mommies, daddies, and grandmas, too.Also big kids, just like you! Everybody potties."Then talks about the feeling in your tumny, tell someone you have to go, pull down you pants and sit until you go. Then flush and wash. And hip, hip, hooray!This book is exactly what I was looking for! And my LO loves the animal characters too.

I purchased "Everybody Potties!" as a gift for toddler granddaughter. She absolutely Loves it! Loves it! Loves it!
