Solved a lot of print quality issues
We bought our printer second-hand, and it came with remanufactured print cartridges. We had noticed print quality issues from the time we purchased it, but as I worked at a print shop, and my experience was with large, commercial color laser printers, I thought it had to be a belt or fuser issue. It wasn't until recently, years after purchasing the printer, that I noticed the old yellow cartridge wasn't distributing the toner evenly. So I bought this one to replace it.Wow. Just wow. With the large, commercial printers, the toner carts are just containers for the powder. I hadn't realized the smaller toner carts had parts, as well. Replacing just this one toner cart improved the print quality exponentially. I'm currently working on replacing the other three toners as well now.
