Works Well with plastic cans
I bought some plastic cans to put small remnants of paint in. I also bought some water based wood putty that also comes in a plastic can. This tool is the only thing I have found that works well to open them. It also works well on metal cans, but so did the paint can opener tools. I have several around just for the plastic cans.

Great can opener and rim cleaner!
I use this opener all the time now! It won't damage the rim of the can! And with the handy little spatula I can push the paint out of the rim and back into the can before I put the lid on! I bought a few to have on hand.

It's really useful. I paint aircraft and am always cleaning up after my cohorts. This makes it fast.
I love it. It was just hard to get. Used to find them at Lowes then had to find them online.
