Keeps them happy & occupied.
The media could not be loaded. I love this product. The holder itself is very durable and holds up great to my super chewer. It is a bit awkward at first while they were trying to figure out how to hold it down, but they got the hang of it. The sticks are held securely in place, I don’t have to worry at all when giving them bully sticks which I used to avoid. One of my dogs will try to chew at the little nub long after he’s finished as much as he can chew. He’s been occupied for over an hour at this point- which gives me a break from him begging for attention. The bully sticks also seem good quality and the price point is great. Will continue to use this brand!! :)

Life Saving for Dogs who Deep Throat the Last Few Inches of a Bully Stick!
The media could not be loaded. This Bully Stick Holder is a must for any dog who likes to "swallow" the last few inches of a Bully Stick! My senior Rat Terrier/Australian Shepherd loves bully/collagen sticks but always tries (and usually succeeds) swallowing the last few inches. The last picture is about how long she will try to swallow. I think I am watching close enough, but one second and that thing is down the throat faster than I can grab it. So not only is it super dangerous, it is so wasteful. These treats aren't cheap! And yes, I've tried everything under the sun as far as "chew" treats go but she just devours them. These will last a good hour! This holder is a life and money saver! I have not tried any other brands, however, you pay the same price as other holders but get a pack of high quality bully sticks as well. The holder itself is solid plastic and the pin goes through the hole in the stick and then screws securely into the other side of the holder. My senior dog is not very big (30lbs) but has razor sharp teeth and can destroy the most durable chew toys in minutes. I can't say how it would hold up to a big ole Rottweiler but this thing is solid. My new 10lb puppy (King Charles Cavalier) handles the holder just fine as well! I was worried it was going to be too heavy but he has no problem running around with it. So I purchased a second holder! What I do it let my senior chew on the stick about half way down and then give it to the puppy. It works perfectly!I honestly don't see any cons other than if the hole in the actual stick is drilled incorrectly. I had one out of about 15 that the hole was too close to the end so I just drilled a new hole. Easy peasy! (for some) On this note, if you know someone who can drill a small hole, you can then use any type/brand of hard treat sticks with this fantastic holder. I drilled holes in my super hard collagen sticks and it worked perfectly!I highly recommend this product to all size dogs who like to deep throat their bully sticks!!

So far, so good!
I've tried other bully stick holders, but my 50+ lb pit was able to yank out the last bit and still eat it. The problem with them, is that they just push the treat against the inner wall of the holder. Odd shapes and such will make performance vary each time. The advantage of this bully holder, is that the "bolt" goes straight through the treat's pre drilled hole...then through a hole in the inner wall of the holder. There's no point of failure here, and the bolt and holder are both sturdy, solid plastic. It's also simple to use, because all you do is twist the bolt, making sure it goes through the hole in the treat and the other side of the holder. I do recommend to not twist it too tightly, as the grip for the bolt can be tricky to grab with your fingers once in too far if you have large hands (but a pair of pliers helped me get it out the one time I did it).Cleaning is easy, since there's no hollow areas for water to seep. What's also nice, is you can take the time to drill a hole in other treats that can fit in the opening of the holder...such as other bully brands you have laying around, or yak cheese (just make sure it's not cut overly wide). This can also be seen as an issue if you don't want to (or can't) drill holes in your dog's chew treats, but I feel it's worth the time for me.The treats themselves are fine. I got the 12 inch ones, and they lasted my girl about two days of intense chewing. Sure they smell a bit when you first open the package, but I haven't noticed any odor while they sit around in the open. I might pick up some more once I run out of what I have already in the pantry. Even if I don't get more of the treats...I'd DEFINITELY get another holder if the current one wears out.

Wrong Size And Very Stinky! ***2nd Review Update Attempt.***
This is a very good safety concept and the product works as described. However, I have a 6 month old teddy bear puppy so receiving the thin size that I ordered is very important. The barcode sticker on the front of the package states that they are thin but the back of the package clearly highlights them as being thick. Unfortunately, I opened the package before noticing the size error. This is the first time I have ordered these so I am not sure whether or not to risk losing more money reordering the correct (thin) size. Furthermore, in the past I have purchased bully sticks from my local pet store for my large breed dog (perished last spring at age 11 after a brief cancer battle), but I don't remember those having a stinky smell. These bully sticks have a very foul odor. Besides the concern of losing money on a second order, the smell coupled with these being sourced in foreign nations (Brazil, Argentina, Kenya, Bangladesh) is also a concern.Update: I reached out to customer service and received a very prompt response. The owner promptly apologized for the error and rush shipped me the appropriate thin sized replacements. My puppy enjoys the thin bully sticks. As for the smell, my nose is extra sensitive to smells, so on second thought, the smell might not be as bothersome to others as it is to me. I was also told that a smaller bully bone is in the making for smaller breed dogs which is something to look forward to. I appreciate the peace of mind that my dog is less likely to choke on his bully stick.
