Great value coffee pot. Works perfectly and is easy to keep clean. The 6 cup is perfect for making 2 big cups of strong lattes which is why I bought it. I boil the water in a kettle first to cut down time spent over the heat so as not to make the coffee bitter, this produces a lovely cup of coffee and the coffee is nice and hot but not overly boiled. Great little coffee pot!

Good price. Sturdy design. And will actually fill my mega cup and leave me with some coffee in the pot.

Having previously owned a Bialetti (the original this VonShelf version is derived from) I had high expectations. On examination on arrival it did look exactly the same in components and mechanics, and so I naturally thought it would be as good (but less than half the price). You are provided with a spare filter and seal which struck me as a bonus, and it's definitely of good quality build. In all honesty in subsequent use and in comparing this to my excellent Bialetti, I nearly sent it back twice. I was finding that on making my coffee in the same way as with the Bialetti only half the water was finding its way to the upper pot on boiling. I was also initially finding the taste of a coffee that I know to taste great in the Bialetti was just not doing so made in the VonShelf. At first I thought the fact the water wasn't going fully through the coffee to the top jug had to be down to it being manufactured with a thicker stovetop base, which was not allowing the water to boil to the extent it would all find its way up. After much experimentation I realised that I was putting too much coffee in the filter funnel. This was causing the hot water to make the coffee grounds expand against the filter above which blocked the full transfer of the hot water through it... Now before that seems obvious, can I just say that my Bialetti never seemed to have this problem and pushed the water through easily despite the coffee expanding in the same way... By filling only to 3/4 capacity or less it now does make very good coffee. Reviews here also state that it leaks at the middle seal (mine does not) and that the poor fitting lid causes spills when pouring also. This is true, but not an issue to worry about... Just open the stiff lid by a few mm when pouring and there is no spillage. Very happy with it now. Despite a Bialetti clearly being the perfect forgiving design, using this VonShelf one correctly and with my considerations produces as decent coffee. The handle on it is also as good quality as the Bialetti... This should be a big consideration when you buy one as the handle is subject to repeated stove heat exposure. Many other similar non Bialetti pots for sale suffer failure on this score according to a great many reviews, and this VonShelf one appeared the best budget one during my lengthy pre purchase assessment. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars of 5, ascannot give it 5 as a Bialetti is definitely slightly better and it seems to me cannot be beaten.

I have been wanting one these for a long time and finally took the plunge. Well, what can I say? It's very well made, looks nice with a polished look. Holds enough water for 6 espressos. Boiling time was great, didn't take long at all. Pours well, no spillage and very easy to clean. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great product, came really quick, and well packaged in the box. Does what it says and worked well for me also looks nice. The video on the ad tells you how to assemble and use which is very helpful.

It works - makes fantastic Lavazza coffee and not a capsule in site (or in the waste bin). Quick and easy to use and clean out afterwards. I use it every day

My smaller one finally needed to be replaced so I selected this size. Seems lighter than my other pot. Wash thoroughly in mild soapy water before use. Always stay near the pot so it doesn't over cook. Amazing coffee flavor, so much better than my French Press. Well worth the extra effort. Simple to use. Do not over fill water past the valve. Do not put in too many grounds 😊 Very important to follow guidelines in use of these Italian style coffee makers! Burner should fit size of base or off center on electric. Do not force, twist firmly avoiding the handle when assembling or disassembling. There are instructions on Amazon and YouTube.

This is a GREAT little Moka Pot. Works perfectly, as far as I can tell. This is my first Moka Pot, so I really do not have anything to compare it to. I have been using it for a couple of months and really no big complaints. The only thing is when you are picking it up to pour, make sure to position your hand out of the way of the steam that comes from the holes around the handle attach point. Also, make sure it is securely fastened together, the top and bottom, as if not they will leak and can make a mess on the stove top. Other than that, excellent espresso every time.
