Update: the company reached out to me after my initial review and confirmed I had a faulty device. They sent me an upgraded model which cleans beautifully and easily. Couldn't be more impressed with this seller's customer service, they went above and beyond! I read the negative reviews on here and was sure that it was a case of people not taking the time to learn how to correctly use it. I watched the video, read the instructions, and off I went. Bought the green one and they held together, but I don't think they'd work on anything thicker than my 18ish mm Windows. The string constantly snags on window fixtures if you're not mindful, which pops the outside one off. The inside squeegee cleans fine, the outside one only cleans well right at the magnets, which makes me think the blades aren't perfectly straight or the magnet isn't holding the device together strongly enough to evenly clean. Anyway. I started well. I got the hang of it , the outside piece hadn't fallen off.i put the blue cloths on to finish and then notice a deep scratch on the inside of my window. Look at the rubber blades and see a little bit of loose plastic stuck in them. I sold myself for not checking first and move on. I do okay, the windows are quite streaky but I figure it's better than dust and grime. The blue cloths are wet after a couple of windows and don't clean so well anymore. I encounter a few more string-snags and the outside piece falls and clatters off the wall outside, and eventually both green plastic cap pieces and both magnets fall out. I watch on in horror and the two magnets bounce and snap together. I sit down and finally prise them apart after five minutes, before supergluing them into place. All in all, an expensive and frustrating let-down that damaged one of my new windows.

Ordered the highest power most expensive set. Not enough power for standard UK double glaze windows. It keeps falling down. Wastage of money. Don't buy it.

It does clean well, but it takes a long time as itbis difficult to use. Eve though the magnet is very strong, it keeps detaching when you try to do certain movements.

Good points I originally ordered a version that was too weak. I found customer services very helpful and quick to help with an exchange of D3 adjustable for the D2. It is helpful that they come with a measuring tool so you can tell if they are the right version. I have had another type of magnet cleaners before and the fact these come with a separator block is VERY sensible. (You’ll see everywhere that the magnets are strong, you have been warned). The reason my old ones from another supplier failed was because they DO from time to time stick together and the squeegee eventually tore while getting them apart. I still need to get the hang of these but got windows clean that otherwise never get cleaned outside. Probably worth a punt if like me, you are too tight to pay a window cleaner. Bad points The unit is too long to do my quarter lights. (I can get to those normally, just not easy). Generally though could do with being shorter as they are bulky. I found the section right under the magnets was cleaned but the middle between the two did not clean well. So took longer. I could not get right to the edge of the windows the squeegee does not extend at all from the body of the unit.

Really good device when living in a high rise apartment. Was a bit skeptical but works a treat. Just make sure you get the right ones to the thickness of glass.

I was using a monthly window cleaning service for the outside windows until I found this gadget. I purchased the 20-28mm one as our double glazed windows have a decent insulating gap between them. Once I received it was quite easy to figure out. The plastic green thingy is to separate the magnets and it's only needed when storing the tool away. The cleaning clothes attach to each of the cleaning tools. Now the thick tool goes on your side of the window and the thinner cleaning tool goes on the other side of the window (eg. outside). You need to make sure you put on the ring that comes with the thin tool (connecting with a string) in case it falls while cleaning. The cleaning process is quite straightforward. You place the tools, spray with window cleaning liquid a couple times on each side of the window and you slowly start doing S shape motions from one side of the windows to the other until you get to the bottom. Remove the tools and repeat. Be careful when handling the tools as the magnet is quite strong (at least on the one I purchased) and are quite hard to remove if they get stuck together. I have to say, my windows have never been so clean before. This gadget will pay for itself in no time! A tip: if you live in a house with lots of windows I'd recommend buying a spare set of Tyroler's microfibre clothes as they get very wet and dirty after cleaning several external windows.

This is a waste of money! I made careful research and bought the ( allegedly) right tool for my windows. It came in today and it doesnt work! The only redeeming feature is that has the ring and thread to recuperate the outside part. And I I used it a lot! It kept on falling off after 2/ second of usage. I tried dry, wet, with S pattern - it doesnt work! And I cannot.even have my money back! When I went to request a return it says the company does not accept them. This is a gimmick item - and at nearly 60 quid and overpriced one. Disgraceful! I had to work hard for my money, I dont have a moment tree in my back yard. Not offering a refund is so wrong. Do not buy this item, stay away.

Cleaning windows on the second floor of our home has always been a big process. Pull out the ladder, clean the outside and then clean the inside as a separate step. After being in our home for 30 years it was getting to be too much for us (do not like being on ladders that high these days). In addition there were always some streak marks left behind. We used this tool today and it is easy and amazing! Cleans the inside and outside at the same time with ease! And NO streaks. I should get a kick back for this daunting review! Do not hesitate to buy it works like a charm!

Supposed to work on windows up to 20mm thick. In apartment block with double glazing within the max of this range but no grip between the two magnets at all . Waste of money - would like to return as 1st attempt and you don’t know till you try live on windows
