Linda Skeens Blue Ribbon Kitchen: Recipes & Tips from America's Favorite County Fair Champion

I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter but had lots of fun going through it before wrapping it up. The author makes it very interesting with her comments and stories, and she provides a good variety of recipes. My granddaughter has tried several of the recipes and I made a copy of several that interested me. Looking forward to trying them!

I absolutely loved this cookbook! I enjoyed reading all of the stories Mrs. Linda included. All of the recipes are very straight-forward and none of them call for any crazy hard-to-find ingredients. I can't wait to try some of these award winning recipes:)

Y’all! Throw all your other southern cookbooks away. This one has every recipe, your mama and them ever made for a family gathering or church potluck, plus a few you picked up right after getting married in the 1980s.The cover is gorgeous and there is a photo with every recipe that makes you want to get up right now and get busy in the kitchen. Perfect for gift giving.

I ordered this book after talking to the author. She promised easy filling meals. This book delivered in spades! Cannot recommend enough!

Excellent recipes for great eating!

It is a nicely laid out, colorful cookbook. But just not what I was expecting recipe-wise. There were 2 recipes that killed it for my "French Fry Dip" which was just the recipe off the back of the Ranch packet you buy at the store. Then there was the "Taco Soup" recipe, that called for everything from a can. Now, I am not a Farm-To-Table snob, but some things can be made with fresh-frozen ingredient or other items that are not canned. For a beginning cook, this would be a great cookbook. Just not what I was expecting in the 2023 era of cooking.

I've made several recipes from this book and it's worth the money! They are (mostly) simple and quick, but most importantly, delicious! I was very excited to find out she had a cookbook - I didn't even ask for it for Christmas, I just bought it immediately and I am so glad I did!!

One of the best cookbooks I have ever found for baking! Great cookies, cakes and sweets. Look forward to trying the other recipes. Received for Christmas so just working through - nice stories and home cooking style. Excellent descriptions and practical tips.Highly recommend!
