The Best Introduction To Barefoot Shoes
The shoe is comfortable, fits similar to a sock, the ground is more textured but not overwhelming like some may expect from a shoe like this. The thickness of the sole insert and the rubber itself is just right and as your feet adjust and your toes widen the shoe develops with it. As the shoe wears down your feet are naturally adapting and feeling more and more of the ground to the extent that some may hardly notice the shoes were developing holes. I discovered this not because of feeling them but because I was checking my pressure placement on the sole and found similar hole development on both shoes. This shoe almost lasted a full year of kitchen service. I've worked in three restaurants in these shoes and while they're technically not slip resistant, nor do they really advertise these as such, I find that they are relatively good at not slipping and sliding around. Even when I had a layer of oil on them I wasn't exactly slipping around and almost falling, at most I was gliding across the floor. All of this to say that the traction even in particular situations hold up well. Now I have fallen only about 3 times and each time I was rushing so truly no fault of the shoes and I was only questioned once if they were non slip to which I replied " well they're trail running shoes, I just have oil on my feet", which was true, fryer oil gets everywhere. The water resistance this shoe has is also outstanding, the amount of times my socks should have been soaked in mop water but weren't is astonishing, as for the rain it is hardly an issue.I have ZERO issues with these shoes and will be purchasing more pairs and varieties in the future. My only desire with the brand is a wider toe box for those that stretch and develop or those that aspire to stretch and develop their feet to a more anatomically correct structure.

Comfortable and True to Size
I wear 11 men's US, size 44 Euro and these are true to size. They are also my single greatest purchase of 2025 so far. My feet have been killing me lately so I have done a lot of research and measuring and realized 40 years too late I need an extra wide shoe and that my arches are pretty flat. I have been miserable in shoes my whole life and as soon as these arrived I put them on and I cannot believe the immediate relief. They are light, breathe very well, the toe box is very accommodating but not awkward, the outsole is a great combination of thin, cushiony, grippy, not too stiff not too soft, and the insole is surprisingly nice underfoot as well. The soles are thin enough you can fold the shoes, perhaps for efficiency packing, and then they just spring back. I have been wearing these since they arrived and have no complaints. As far as the barefoot design goes, I guess it works naturally for me but I'm not someone who goes out of their way to find barefoot shoes. I had originally heard a lot about Lem's and was interested in those but they were too expensive. Someone then suggested Whitin and I figured for $30 I might as well try them. Very very happy.Materials: they feel like shoes made of shoe material. They are very flexible and bendy so the uppers are more synthetic fabric than plastic panels, they are breathable and I like that the sole conforms to the shape of the shoe instead of just being glued to the bottom of the shoe. They feel very good when walking, sitting, or standing. Absolutely great shoe so far.

Lightweight and Comfortable
I've been using these for about a year now. Overall they are great for packing light and compacting. I was able to fold them up almost in half and stuff them in a bag for a backpacking trip. Being so lightweight they were easy to carry along as an extra pair. Only downside is the sole being a bit thin so you do feel a lot of big rocks under your feet. But to be expected with such a lightweight shoe.

Couldn't have asked for a better shoe on my 10-day walking tour of Europe...
These sneakers used to be bright white, but after 10 days of hard use (25,000 steps / day), they have seen some miles!!All that being said, these are without doubt the BEST sneakers I have ever used, and could not have been happier with them for my walking tour of London and Rome. They are not my first pair of zero-drop, but these babies went above and beyond. My feet were tired, but they were never sore. Big distinction! My wife bought a pair of expensive trainers, let's call them "oh seas", and had blisters on the very first day. I paired these shoes with some comfortable socks with a heel pad (like for golf shoes), and I could not have been more comfortable. From the old cobblestone streets of London, to the rocky and dusty terrain of ancient Rome, these shoes took it all in stride.I couldn't be happier with these shoes. They did everything I asked of them, and are only a bit dirty for their efforts - I'd buy these again in a heartbeat if these wore out, but there is still PLENTY of life in them, and I can't wait to add the next chapter. These shoes are amazing.

Teenage Son Fell In Love With These Shoes! Extremely Comfortable & Useful For Active Lifestyle
My teenage son likes barefoot shoes for his wide feet with high arches. He needed an extra pair for the summer for hiking and activities. These shoes were meant to be his extra side pair of shoes, but he found them so incredibly comfortable they are now his favorite pair he wears for everything!! The shoes fit true to size, are flexible, light weight, durable, have great tread, and are extremely comfy. Great value for the price for sure! The color is lovely too and true to the pics online. The only thing to note is that the shoe laces are a tiny bit long, so we swapped them out for a slightly shorter pair, but with the great price of the shoes buying laces was no big deal at all. I probably should get him another pair in a different color!
