I've never seen a reborn doll before, so I wasn't sure what to expect.This isn't the nicest-looking baby!, but it is reasonably realistic. It comes in a polythene bag (suffocation risk: won't somebody think of the children?!) And is well packaged inside for protection. It has a vinyl head, arms, and hands, legs and feet. The body is flesh-coloured and quite firmly stuffed yet soft enough to be huggable.I think these dolls are aimed at a more mature market, and it would be perfect for someone with dementia who likes looking after babies. A child could also play with the doll, but not be able to bath it, like they can with other dolls. And I doubt whether pens or crayons would wipe easily off the soft vinyl, so that may be a concern, at the price.The baby can be sat up, and the arms and legs rotate, but not easily, so a child may struggle.Maybe it's me: but it seems expensive for what it is.

I was hesitant to order this doll at first because of the bad reviews, but I went ahead and ordered and I’m glad I did. The doll does not look exactly like the one in the picture, but it is sooooo cute!!! She comes with her original clothes only. Overall, I really loved her. She is the cutest!

Meet Oliver! This doll looks just like the picture! Of course, I had to buy him new clothes! He is weighted nicely and has the sweetest little face. I bought him a 6-9 mos outfit. He is worth EVERY penny!
