Excellent topper for picky cats
Both our picky young Siberians love Applaws, and we love that it only contains 4 ingredients. With Dr. E’s dry cleanprotein dry food + a scoop of bone broth powder in warm water, the pumpkin + chicken Applaws makes for a great texture/taste enhancer & source of dietary moisture. The pumpkin variety really helps to balance their digestion, too (no bum-fur poo-residue seen since we introduced it!).Cat parents might be interested in Applaws for one or more of the following reasons:For those of us unwilling to sacrifice the nutritional benefits of quality wet food in spite of the often prohibitively-high price tag for your picky fur-child(ren):1. Combine some healthy, nutritionally-complete dry food with warm potable water2. Purée in blender2. Stir in Applaws for picky-kitty palatability (before blending if they prefer pate, after if they like shreds, or skip blending altogether if they don’t care)For those of us hoping to calm fur-child(ren)’s upset stomach:1. Obviously check with the vet first to rule out other GI issues2. Feed only chicken + pumpkin Applaws (pumpkin helps balance digestion) for no more than 2 days3. Gradually reintroduce nutritionally-complete wet or dry food over the next 2 daysBonus: continue feeding chicken + pumpkin Applaws in combination with complete food to maintain healthy digestion & ensure kitty gets enough nutrientsPLEASE NOTE:- Applaws is a meal compliment, aka it doesn’t contain enough nutrients or calories on its own; be sure to alternate or mix with AAFCO-certified “complete” cat food for a nutritionally balanced diet :)- Dietary moisture and access to clean drinking water are both necessary for a cat’s kidney & urinary health. Any dry food should be with wet food, wet meal compliments such as Applaws, and/or water/pet-specific broth. Hydro-homies!- The four simple ingredients include: chicken, chicken broth, pumpkin, and rice. Unless your kitty’s vet has told you otherwise or you’re aware of an allergy, the 1% rice content is negligible.Bon a petit! =^•^=

Applaws Cat Food
I love this brand, it's full of protein as I worry my cat is not getting all the nutrients she needs. She loves the different flavors.

Love Applaws
My cats love Applaws. This used to be their favorite flavor, but now they are so finicky that I have to buy new flavors every week to try and figure out which ones they will eat. One of my cats is on the small side, so I get the kitten cans so she doesn't choke on the chicken strands.

A bit different…maybe
I’ve been purchasing this item from a pet store nearby. It’s pricey, but after losing my beloved elder cat to old age, and recently adopting a Maine Coon kitten mix, I want to do all I feasibly can to insure Louis has a long life, just as did his predecessor. I purchased this item, pack of 24, via Amazon this time. It was a bit less expensive per can, and I like the convenience. Immediately, upon opening a can however, I recognized the consistency wasn’t exactly the same as the pet store cans. The item smells okay, but, I do feel somewhat concerned that this may not be the exact same product. Also, Louis doesn’t seem “quite” as interested in it as he did the cans I’d purchased previously from the pet store. I may not purchase this item through Amazon again, but I’m not sure yet.

No Customer Service and No Refunds - Made one of My Cats Sick
I have been caring for/fostering a large number of cats for the past several months (the numbers fluctuated but at one point I had as many as 17 cats in my care). I felt bad feeding them something different than I would feed my own cats so I spent the money to get what I thought was quality food. In the past seven months I have purchased around 30 cases of food from this Amazon store, which is roughly $2000 worth of cat food. I have had trouble getting enough of the Applaws wet food from my local supplier, so I was happy when I found this store and they usually had it in stock.A couple of months ago they sent me an entire case of dented cans, many were badly dented. The case had obviously been “built” by hand as the box had been torn as if opened previously and it was all taped up to give it back it’s structure. I was in need of the cat food so against my better judgement I served it to my cats. I thought I was being careful checking the cans for leaks after emptying them (I filled them to the brim with water to see if any water leaked out.). I should not have taken the chance. It was fine for the first few feedings but then I noticed one of my foster cats was very ill. I am thankful he survived, but I felt horrible possibly giving him a mild case of botulism. I decided I couldn’t feed the cats any more of the food from this case and I tried contacting the seller. After completing their online form to provide batch number, sku, best by date, etc. and writing a lengthy explanation as to what happened, I submitted and it told me it was not eligible for a refund. 😖I’m done with this cat food. I’m mad at the company/seller. They won’t be getting my business again.

Excellent cat food brand
This is the best brand of soft cat food I have been able to find. It is not carried in the pet stores in my area. The pricing is in line with what it costs off the shelf in the stores that do carry it. I ordered and received it within a week which I thought was a very quick shipping. This is only soft cat food my cats are interested in and the only soft food that I have seen that actually looks like the meat type it is. My cats actually prefer it over me baking them a chicken (yes- I tried)
