The product needs to have a larger opening to release caught mouse. Also baiting is very cumbersome. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This is a well-intentioned attempt to combine two essential, but somewhat distasteful aspects of civilized domesticity -- containing trash and catching mice. It works great for the first, and for the second not. I have yet to trap a mouse in the base after baiting it with sunflower seeds, presumably because the door is too difficult for them to open. Never-the-less, I either have to get down on my knees or lift the can up to eye height, in order to check whether some wayward super-mouse has somehow managed to force his way in.
