Bought two bags of these carving blocks, nice uniform sizes, but the quality does vary wildly, some pieces are easy to carve and are a pure joy and can be compared to carving a block of soap,ie nice and smooth, there are some lovely grain patterns in some pieces whilst other blocks are good ol' plain Janes with no discernable grain in them. Other pieces though are as hard as rock and even with scary sharp tools are very difficult, verging nigh on dangerous to carve, resulting in these blocks being relegated to the bin/fire, or i suppose you could save the duff pieces and slowly build a Jenga set. The harder pieces are probably ok if you power carve as you wont notice any difference, but if hand carving take a bit of care and study the block before you start for grain pattern, direction and in the case of a few bits i had, compression grain which is beautiful to look at, but a real p i t a to carve with hand tools. Would i buy these again, yes probably as the extra pieces you get (even with a few duff pieces in each bag), it still works out as better value for money than other sellers.

Essendo un principiante non l’ho trovato semplicissimo da intagliare ed è anche abbastanza ridotto di dimensioni

Tutto in uno, in realtà sono dei pezzetti di legno morbido per imparare ad intagliare li ho regalati e sono ottimi per lo scopo. Li consiglio.

J'espérais pouvoir les grouper entee eux pour obtenir des pieces plus grosses, mais mises bord à bord il a des jours.Mis à part cela, tilleul sans noeud, prêt à sculpter.
