This heats up quickly and works really well for what it is. You will NOT get curls with this, and don't expect your hair to look like it has ringlets. You will get softer waves that will offer nice texture as well as a cute beachy look. It works quickly, and is pretty easy to use. It does take a few tries to get the back side since it is a different motion than a curler, but once you get used to it things are pretty quick and easy.It is a little heavier and larger, but it gives such a cute look that it is worth it. The barrels stay clean with the ceramic coating which also protects your hair a little. It is very reasonably priced for what seems to be an occasional use item, but you really could do this every day because it doesn't take long! And even if you only use it once in a while, it is very affordable and is a fun way to change up hair styling.

This is a 5 Barrel Curling Iron 0.6Inch Hair Crimper. It’s a black and bronze color with 5 barrels. It’s pretty big and a little heavy, but with that being said it does fit nicely in the hand. It only has 2 heat settings- 180 degrees Celsius and 210 degrees Celsius. It heats up in less than a minute and it’s really easy to use. It does leave nice waves the first time you go over your hair, but it leaves better- more defined waves if you go over the same hair twice. If you use the crimper over your curly hair, it can leave it a little frizzy. So, it may be better to have the hair straight before using it. But either way, you can use it. It does leave pretty beach waves though. The only downside is that it is a little heavier than other hair tools.

I have what I would consider to be smaller hands and this was awkwardly weighted and caused me to burn myself several times. I feel like the handle could have used more counterweight and the cord could have been a little longer as well. Not a quality option, but if on a limited budget, it would work.

This curling iron is a neat concept but I think the barrels may be too large for the expected outcome. It gave my hair a very slight crimped look, and not the beautiful waves in the example photos.

I've never had one of these before and never had it used on my hair or on my wigs. I wasn't sure if the hairstyle would last either, but I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate and lasting results. This crimper iron did a great job on my daughter's hair, and it lasted all day. The only thing I didn't like about this crimper is that it's not exactly a space saver. I don't have a lot of room to work with my vanity, and this thing takes up quite amount of space. When it's hot, I have to find a big enough spot for it too cool down, and that was kind of difficult. Other than that, I think this product is fantastic. The crimper does what it was designed to do, to make me happy and my daughter as well. I would highly recommend.

I like to use it to give my hair some texture really quickly so it hold an updo better. I live in a hot & humid climate so using it on my hair while down in the summer is a no go. The barrels heat up very fast. Overall it has some heft to it so you'll get a little workout using it. I suggest using a heat mat or a thick or silicone style pot holder to rest it on so you don't burn your countertop. It's a good price for this type of hair appliance.

I have fine, moderate thickness hair and the 180 degree Celsius was plenty of heat for me. I was surprised that I only needed to crimp each section for just a few seconds to get long lasting waves. I tried lightly crimping for an even shorter amount of time, like 2 seconds, and it created a nice looser crimp. It heated up very quickly as well. This is would be a great tool to have if you have young girls who like doing fun hairstyles!
