Gro-Sure Multi-Purpose Grass Lawn Seed, 50 m2, 1.5 kg

Lost a lot of grass in the winter rains,well it was a muddy paddock really soon fixed with a bit of forking feeding and seeding us go sure lawn seed before and it worked fine no dearer than the shop and with the pandemic found it on amazon no stress about shopping.

I had not tried any extensive grass seeding before, just patches, so was somewhat apprehensive of the likely results but I have been very pleased with the results. I also covered the seed with a thin layer of compost and then watered. The compost was to aid prevention of bird predation and also to help retain moisture around the seed. It was rather breezy when I seeded so I didn't get as even a distribution as I wanted and have had to carry out some secondary seeding to several small areas but over all I have been pleased with the results. As the last phot shows I have now cut the new grass twice and it looks pretty good just one month from seeding.

Bought to re-seed several significant patches of my lawn that suffered from last summer’s heat wave. Although an advertised built in dispenser was an attraction I opted to ignore this and, in mid-March, sewed by hand, which was very straightforward. The pull out flap with holes didn’t inspire much confidence in a gentle and even dispersal. Very little information at all on the box, which is disappointing. Only by checking online sources was I able to understand preparation of the bare patches and anticipated speed of seed growth. Only after about 4 weeks was there any sign of germination in spite of a careful daily watering ritual. Even now there are areas where nothing much seems to be happening despite me seeding the whole lawn with the entire contents. Now 6 weeks later and the jury is still out about how effective this product actually is. Fingers crossed it delivers in the end.

I've used this where building works had left strips and patches to back fill and seed. This seed has taken well and is making the original grass look really bad! Much better than another lead brand seed I'd used before in the same garden

I am quite sure this is excellent stuff but in Scotland it is Gro-Slow, some didn't even germinate. This is officially our worst summer since records began. I feel bad marking down to four stars but it was my experience, if we have better weather next year and the results are as they should be, I will gladly upgrade my rating.

Buen producto, buen precio, buena presentación. Es verdad, que a diferencia de otros que he comprado, los pájaros no le atacan o al menos, no con la misma intensidad. En una semana estaba creciendo y tiene un verde muy bonito...cuando crece todo, la verdad es que da gusto verlo, verde llamativo y muy uniforme. el problema es que es muy delicado y en seguida nota que andes pisando y se resiente. Por eso no le doy las cinco estrellas, me ha gustado mucho que los pájaros no lo coman, pero no lo delicado que es.

Cumple con lo que oferta. No es lo mejor pero si una buena relacion calidad precio que lo hace recomendable.
