Straightforward install and it feels solid. Id really give it 4.5 stars because of the instructions. I wish it gave a list of the tools and bit sizes needed, but the torque specs are nice. You'll need a socket torx set and either a ratchet or an impact to pop the rear bolts free. After that, smooth sailing. I love having my CB there for going on trails, other off-roading, and for traffic jams on the interstate.

From the amount of reviews of this product not fitting, I should have known better. This item can be installed, but then the jeeps roof panels will not fit down on top of it. It is as if it was designed around a specific model and the seller was ignorant enough to state it fits all JL models. Misleading product titling and information. Prepare to return if you choose to purchase.

This overhead panel is surprisingly heavy guage metal, installed easily. The installation instructions are simple to a point of vague. But, if the instructions are not clear enough you might want to find a friend. I installed it earlier today without any problems. The part came with a metal bar to protect it from damage in shipping that has to be removed before installing. So you even get 4 nuts, bolts and washers for another project.On with the shelf. It will easily support mounting a GMRS / HAM or C.B. radio or a heavy fire extinguisher (not that I'd want that on it.) Or PALS web pouches. The sides will keep glasses on it just expect them to slide around if in hard case. You will need a few torx bits for installing remove 3 small ones to access the rear mounts (hardtop) have a 1/4 ratchet and 2 in extension too. Then the front hard top mounting clips make sure you don't put left one back on wrong side and vis versa. It will take probably less than half hour to install with out rushing. I will try to update after some time with it or if anything changes about it. And I take a few pictures of it installed.

The install can be a bit of a challenge for fat fingers, but overall quite straight forward. It does what it is intended to do. The biggest challenge is finding a slim pouch so it doesn't sag with items inside. Impressed with the sturdiness of the unit.

Built solid but does not fit my 23 gladiator and yes I installed it right and no it just don’t line up right don’t waste your time unless your want to fix there design flaw and grind it down to get roof panels to seal tight and line up

Part fit perfectly and looks great. You just have to put the brackets back on in the correct sequence. It worked on my 2024 Rubicon. Nice. addition

Had to modify rear panel mounts to fit into the panel. The plastic trim had to be filed down less than a 1/4 inch so the panel would fit back correctly. Not mentioned in the instructions but simple to do and doesn't effect the integrity of the brackets. The panel itself is great and strong but the rear opening to release the panels could be a little bigger. Very pleased with it and would recommend it for anyone.
