Loose woven muslin
I bought this muslin to make mock ups of clothes before using expensive fabric. This muslin is priced well and is adequate for that purpose. The weave is quite loose so not suitable for clothing or home decor. Possibly ok for embroidery, but looser than fabric I've seen embroidered. One commenter suggested sewing along edges and selvages before washing to avoid fraying. I sewed along the ends but not along the salvaged and had no fraying. I'm happy with this purchase, which suits my purpose.

decent utility cotton for the price
This is basic medium weight cotton in a fairly loose plain weave. I'd describe it as closer to osnaburg than what is typically sold as muslin in the US. It is lighter than the medium duty canvas drop cloths I have, otherwise similar. Throws off a ton of lint when washed (overcast the edges first, including the selvedges.) I did not measure shrinkage, it appears to shrink a fair bit. That is normal for this type of fabric. It is what I was looking for: inexpensive, drapes ok, available in large quantities. I use it for utility bags, tablecloths, and pattern testing. Shipping from outside the US takes a while, so plan ahead.

Gorgeous fabric
I did not expect the quality of this fabric to be so amazing for the price. Really beautiful. I washed it on clod and dried on low and it came out looking amazing. Washing is always the test and this fabric passed!

Perfect to dye!
I used this material to make a stage long Technicolor Coat for the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The fabric was easy to dye and took the Rit dye well. Because of the nature of the fabric, the colors came out more muted, but that is exactly what I was looking for. The fabric is not very sheer and was lightweight, but once I sewed it all together (total of 30 yards) it got pretty heavy! I found it easy to sew, but use a high stitch count because the weave of the fabric is looser. The wrinkles are easy to steam iron out too!
