Great Ice Maker
I have at least three trucks that go out every day, the icemaker can make enough for them, and their ice, chess and more .As far as installation, I hope the water line up I plugged it in and it started making ice immediately .

Ice ice and more ice
The ice maker operates as described! The scoop is a little cheesy so I bought a larger aluminum that makes bagging ice a dream! Love it

Works well, loud
I have been asked to review this product with my honest and unbiased opinion. This ice maker works really well. It has two settings, one for smaller cubes and one for larger cubes. It can hold about 4 trays of the large ice cubes at a time, and makes ice pretty fast. My only copmplaint is that its fairly loud for such a small machine.

Slow process, but it works
Does it make ice? Yes. Does it make ice quickly? No.In my photo, the amount you see there is after one hour. It completed a batch of large ice after 1.5 hours, and it wasn't even filled with water to the max line (half inch or so below it). It's nice to have if you don't have an ice maker built in your refrigerator. But if you're expecting to be able to make smoothies with the ice or serve beverages for company, plan ahead. It produces ice much slower than expected. Good thing is, the ice that melts while it's taking so long goes back in the reservoir to be made into ice again.

Makes ice quick but a few nitpicks
Tried out the ice maker today and wanted to highlight a few things I see.First off, read the directions there are some caveats and things it tells you to do before starting this. The first step is to undue all tape and things that hold things in place - this is not in the direction and one in particular is kind of hidden on the mechanism that pushes the ice into the basket. Second is to let this thing sit upright for 24 hours to let the refrigerant settle before even plugging it in. Third is that you want to run about 4 ice cycles before consuming the ice to clean it thoroughly. Also drop the first cycle of ice back into the water as it cools the water and makes more uniform cubes - you will see the first batch isn’t very uniform.Pros:-it makes ice very quick even on larger size-is quiet while making the ice (not when dropping it which happens frequently - see cons)-very compact-clear directions-can make quite a few batches on a full reservoir-if ice doesn’t get picked up and it melts while in the basket it will just reuse the water as the basket sits atop the water reservoir.Cons:-there is no cooling mechanism in the unit itself so when it makes the ice it immediately starts “melting”. While it’s cool enough to house it for a while the ice comes out “wet” so if you’re going to bag it up and save for later it will stick to other cubes in the freezer. Fortunately the ice cube shapes allow it to be broken up easily if this happens.-it isn’t quiet when dropping the ice (the pic of the kid sleeping while it’s on wouldn’t happen for me at least)-ice size is smaller than my fridge ice but on par with Samsung fridges ice sizeStill am glad I have this thing. Living in south Florida ice is a key item to have to keep those drinks and coolers cold.

Fast Ice In a Compact Machine
We've been thinking about getting an ice maker for our RV for awhile, and after reading about the size and rapid production of this one we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! We got it home and let it sit upright for the 24 hours they advise, and then as soon as we plugged it in we had our first batch of ice in under 10 minutes! Not only that, the little basket was full within an hour -- pretty impressive! I was a little disappointed in the fact that the ice doesn't stay cold enough in its basket to stay frozen, so it will melt if it is in there too long. The ice maker will continue making ice to keep the basket full, though. We find that we can just take the basket of ice out when it is finished and keep it in a tub in our freezer and we have plenty of ice. Two nice features: there are lights to indicate if you have run out of water or if your basket is full and then will stop production until the issue is resolved. The size of the ice maker makes it very convenient to travel with! It has a relatively small footprint and fits easily on a small counter I have next to my coffeemaker. It is also fairly quiet -- you can hear the fan running and the water filling, but both of those are quiet. The only real sound you notice is the sound made when the ice releases and gets dumped into the basket. But even that isn't bad.All in all, I think this is a great little ice maker and worth the money.
