Arthur Baker was (and is) a premier music producer who also knew how to remix and extend an already great song. If you love dance music from the 1980's then you will LOVE this box set.

It's ok so far. I bought it explicitly for the Pet Shop Boys "Suburbia" remix. Strangely, while all the other tracks are referenced in the booklet, this track is totally ignored. What was that about? There's a handful of other popular remixes I appreciate but many are rather obscure. That's no reflection of Arthur Baker's remixing skills, just maybe need more time to explore them. I'm do like these sets and I'd also recommend the Shep Pettibone collection.

It's a good project but...Inside the big booklet there is missing data about Suburbia by Pet Shop Boys was not includedNow, the information about I.O.U (Mega-Mix) by Freeez is wrong, because this version was only released in the UK, not in the US market, and therefore never made it to Billboard's Top Dance/Disco chart.The version that went to #1 in the dance charts was the single released as Streetwise SWR2210, slightly different from the UK version. The media could not be loaded.  New out of the box 4 of the 6 records are warped so badly they won't play on my Technics 1200 or Philips 212 and are skipping.2 are playable but still bouncing the arm like a rollercoaster. Will be returning for an exchange.For $150 I expect better.The music on the 2 I could play is awesome, no doubt about that so I will be exchanging hoping for a better set.

Very good music hard to get. But damaged due to bad packaging and delivery. Thats no way to send vinyl safe. Send from the USA and therefore to expensive to return. Very sad.

In meiner Jugend sind mir die Remixes von Arthur Baker immer positiv aufgefallen. Den Spontankauf dieser Kollektion hätte ich mir allerdings sparen können. Sowohl musikalisch als auch klanglich bin ich durchweg enttäuscht. Einzig die Stücke von Fine Young Cannibals und Living in a Box gefallen mir. 2 Tracks von 4 CDs: schlechte Ausbeute. Schade.

CD arrivato prima della data prevista ottimo. Splendido cofanetto 4 CD che contengono il meglio dei remix realizzati da Arthur Baker produttore e remixer americano all'interno un eccellente libretto con splendide foto ..... speriamo che la serie continui.....

80年代を代表するディスコ／クラブ音楽のリミキサー兼プロデューサーであるArthur Bakerの12インチ盤用リミックス曲を集めたCD4枚組コンピレーション。New OrderやPet Shop Boys、Freeezなどのお馴染みのものから、Freetwood Mac、Bob Dylan、Carly Simonといったロック、ポップス系の異色の作品まで、計約40曲が収録されている。個人的にはRobbie Nevilの"C'est La Vie"がレアなのでありがたかった。音質は全体的にクリアで良好。長文の解説（英語）では、Arthur自身のコメントを交えつつ、少年期の音楽との出会いや、クラブDJとして活動し始めた70年代の記憶、著名ミュージシャンのリミックスを手掛けた際のエピソードなどがふんだんに盛り込まれており、大変興味深かった。
