Can’t imagine the more expensive ones giving anywhere near the bang for buck. Easy setup, great app, and sounds great.

Very nice usable app. Well built, feels good in the hand. With the saber dac chip it sounds very good, as good as the Node, but not as good as my Eversolo DMP-A6 that cost $849.00. I highly recommend this product it is a very good deal. I think it is better than the Bluesound Node mostly because of it's price and it has more internet radio stations available out of the box than Node and more presets 12 instead of 4. I hive it 4 stars.

I upgraded my old Google Audio Chromecast. What a difference. Also, I tried it with a Aiyima A70 and some AudioEngine 5's reworked into passives. A relatively good small audio set, but the room correction really bumped up the sound. Not to my main system (big amp, big speakers), but a lot of music is indistinguishable (but some isn't). As an example, the fuzz on Rust Never Sleeps is guttier on the big set, but it is much more listenable on the smaller system with Wiim room correction.

What I was mainly looking for was a way to stream my music directly from an Ethernet connection to my dedicated DAC. 14 years ago when I used a Squeezebox Duet to stream FLAC files from a server to my stereo, the audio was better than what I’ve been listening to over Bluetooth, even using the best CODECs available, like APTX HD and LDAC. Now, one limitation of the WiiM Pro is the Bluetooth receiver. It only supports SBC and AAC codecs, but I can still use my LDAC Bluetooth receiver and run it to SPDIF-in on WiiM Pro. This unit has a WiFi remote available, which I got. It costs less, does more, and sounds just as good as the Squeezebox Duet. It’s a great product and I don’t see anything out there on the market that competes with it in this price range as of this review.Update: This thing is cheaply made. It's slow to detect input signals and switch to that source. I don't like the use of a single LED with different colors to tell me what the input is because some of the colors are close and it's difficult to tell what's selected. It has its limitations. It's buggy and audio can sputter. Rebooting was necessary to solve the problem. It only allows one digital output (coaxial/SPDIF) to be used at a time. Doesn't have a line out for a subwoofer. Don't expect an audiophile quality build. I don't expect this unit to last more than 3 years.

Does what a streamer should do. Stream music from the majority of services out there. Hi res is supported up to 24/192 if you need that. I am not blessed with the special powers so I am fine with CD 16/44.1, which is the majority of quality music out there for streaming. Software works fine, no issues so far. The price is hard to beat for what and how it streams. Getting this device with a decent Ethernet cable and connection will be what most people will need. You provide the DAC

I am new to streaming, and I thought I’d try this item. Easy to set up, works like a charm, and the sound quality is very good. Highly recommend.

I have the three models of WiiM, the mini, the Pro and the Pro Plus, use them in two rooms and three different setups: The Mini is incredibly small about the size of the Google Chromecast dongle which is very useful for a tight space, connected to a Bose Soundbar through the optical cable which give me a decent sound in this setting. The Pro is connected to the hi-res Sony speaker SRX-88 through the RCA line, and the Plus is connected to a pair of amplified Edifier speakers with the RCA connectors too, as suggested by the manufacturer, the sound is great in both the units with a noticeable upgrade in the Plus, I guess because the better DAC. I listen to some hi-res audiophiles and mostly to Spotify streaming music and I am very satisfied with the results.I have to mention that I did not use the RCA cables included with the units as they are very thin for my liking, and did replace them with better quality cables, also, one the remote was finicky right out the box and was replaced by WiiM customer support when I contacted them. This is an excellent product which solves a lot of problems for the music enthusiast without breaking the bank. Very satisfied with the gadgets and looking for the next WiiM products.

I was using the smaller wiim for my audio setup and later purchased this for my TV. Optical works great from my tv with line out of the wiim to my speakers.I wasn't able to set it up to use my apple tv remote to control the volume and unfortunately the remote died after a month.As for privacy, I have no use for the microphone or location features. The app requires precise location on iPhone to set it up.

Espero les sirva mi opinión:Había visto reseñas del artículo en diversos medios especializados en audio,hablaban muy bien del producto y pues me decidí a comprarlo, lo obtuve en una excelente promoción y descuento en Amazon y obtuve el wiim pro a precio del wiim Mimi , ya llevo unos meses usándolo y solamente puedo tener comentarios positivos,increíble audio, las opciones de conectividad y las funciones son de 1a ,,todo es muy fácil de configurar,las actualizaciones son automáticamente ,lo uso con Amazon music UNLIMITED y tidal ,el sonido es fantástico en ambos, tengo tanto equipo vintage como actual y el sonido es magnífico en ambos sistemas,espero les sea útil mi opinión,10 de 10 en todo.

Excelente streamer a un precio inigualable en oferta. La aplicación con la que se maneja es muy intuitiva y su calidad de audio está bastante bien. Muy recomendado!

Un streamer con un dac integrado, como steamer es una excelente opción a un costo muy bajo, incluye su control remoto, por otro lado el dac mencionan que no es de una calidad excelente, pero por el precio vale la pena. Incluye sus cables de conexión listo para usarse, la instalación y configuración muy fácil de realizar, un producto muy recomendable.

En definitiva es un buen streamer con excelente app para controlarlo aunque el DAC incorporado deja que desear.Lo bueno: buena conectividad, excelente app, se conectó inmediatamente a mis servicios de strreaming y al NAS, vino con control remoto incluído (el WiiM Pro regular no lo trae), buen descuento por Black Friday (20% menos mas el control remoto es atractivo)Lo no tan bueno: si le pones música HiFi te queda a deber, lo conecté a unos monitores activos Kali LP6 que antes incluían en su cadena de audio un DAC Topping D10s que es bastante modesto pero bueno y si se nota la diferencia, no es malo pero no me encanta. Moviéndole a la ecualización mejora bastante pero así y todo...Tenía en mis planes comprar un WiiM Pro Plus pero me decidí por este por el precio, aún compraré el otro en algún momento (¿navidad?) y este irá a cumplir funciones al patio en donde seguramente servirá para hacer streaming de Spotify a un amplificador de buena potencia y a otro set de bocinas, creo que será un buen lugar para el.En conclusión, si no eres audiófilo el aparato es muy bueno, si te importan los detalles en la música, tendrás que conectarle un DAC o ir por otro modelo.
