Okay this sounds crazy, but the color changed overnight. At first I was annoyed because I used the Lava regular polish on my toes and the Lava Gel polish on my fingers, and the colors didn’t match. My nails looked red and my toes looked the bright orangey red that I expected. As any DIY nail person knows, it takes hours. I didn’t finish my right hand, I was sick of polishing, so I went to bed with my left hand and all toes polished and the nails on my right hand bare. I woke up this morning and finally put the gel on my right hand. Lo and behold, it doesn’t match the left!! Overnight the gel on my left hand turned the same orangey red as my toes, the color I wanted! Now my right hand looks red but I’m going on with my day hoping it catches up to the left. I have no idea how or why this happened, but I’ll take it! Edit: yes, the color changed throughout the day and caught up, both hands were the same color by dinner time

Definitely a bright orange-ish red. Application is great and looks beautiful. In dull or inside lighting the color looks more red, but when outside, it’s more of a bright orange

Love this Ferrari red gel polish! This has been such a staple piece for this summer. If you’re looking to be on a budget and do your own nails. Definitely recommend!

I purchased “Red Mars” and it’s a very fluorescent red-orange. I paid more than I normally would to have a matching color set of gel and polish and I’m pleased with it. This formula is a lot thicker than the polish and gel polish I’m used to. I’ll update if it doesn’t last a decent amount of time. My beetles and similar brands chip within a week and I’m hoping for 10-14 days from this one for the price point.

Loved this color of red. I have light medium neutral skin tone leaning towards warmth. The non gel version dries down very fast and doesn't chip too easily. They both last me a while.

Great color and is a really nice polish. There is a learning curve with this brand so take your time and don’t give up if it turns out bad the first time.

Wanna start by saying how obsessed I am with the lava color. However, I bought it to bring to my nail girl for her to do my nails at the nail salon. She put the color on and finish everything and I was in love. It looked so amazing but then as soon as I went out in the natural daylight, the nail started to change color to a darker red. Not that it was ugly, but the reason why I bought this nail polish in the first place was because of the fluorescent orange red color. It is my all-time favorite color. So I was a little bummed out to find out that went outside or out and about it changed. But the weird part is…. When night time came and I went to sleep and woke up in the morning and still was inside. The color would be back to its bright self. It’s so weird! I am just putting on my toes now at home and using my UV light and as soon as I put it under the light, the color turned dark red. I’m going to post a picture of the freshly painted color without going under the light yet next to my toes already finished and you can see the difference. Still both pretty but I’m really wanting it to stay or that fluorescent orange red that it’s supposed to be.The picture is attached and it’s not a huge difference in the photo but you can tell more and natural light in person, the color difference.
