Panasonic ER115 Nose & Ear Hair Trimmer Wet/Dry Application

This used to be the best nose hair trimmer on earth until I lost it. Now, 20 years later, I bought it again on Amazon and it is again the best nose hair trimmer on earth! Not that I have a large amount of nose hair but I have tried probably 20 trimmers and have never been satisfied except for with this one. Even other models of Panasonic trimmers don't match the quality of this amazing little machine. This trimmer gets all the hairs, no matter how deep or how stubborn they are. It's simple and effective. You might think it's a little pricey for it's size but don't be fooled! It's absolutely the BEST of the BEST! Once you use this you will toss your other trimmers and stick with this one forever. Let's hope Panasonic never stops making this trimmer. That would be a sad day! Like others have stated in reviews, I had this model decades ago. It was the most powerful trimmer yet it did not damage or irritate delicate areas. It was also very easy to maintain - easy to disassemble and clean/lube and it was reliable/durable lasting well more than a decade. Stores well and battery can be removed when travelling. Glad to find it is still available. I went through a few other brands over the last decade and they were not as powerful or durable or reliable. Nor were they easy to store. This Panasonic ER115 Nose & Ear Hair Trimmer is a great value.

I’ve had one of these for probably 20 years or more and it’s a great little device. The USB rechargeable ones are weak. This battery operated one is a beast. Fast and powerful. Does the job right. I may buy an extra one to have because at some point Panasonic will stop making a product that lasts for a decade or more

This is definitely one of the most effective ear/nose clippers I've used. Others make it very difficult to actually get the hairs into the small clipper opening. The downside is that it can RIP those hairs out quite aggressively. Yes, it will sting and even got a blood spot where it took it out on my ear. If you lean towards functionality and not comfort, this will get the job done. 5 on functionality and 2 on comfort.

All the other "new generation" trimmers do not compare to the GOAT. My old Panasonic trimmer, which I used for 20+ years broke down in 2022. To my reluctance, I decided to try out a new generation trimmer (left side) which has more plastic shielding, apparently to protect against potential skin damage, and a smaller trim circle compared to the Panasonic (right). After three frustrating years of use, with disappointing trim power and coverage, I decided to go back to the GOAT. I was surprised that it was still being sold in 2025! I just had to nab it for the sheer power and comprehensive nostril coverage. It is very satisfying having the nose hair I want removed, fully removed. I will buy another one so that they'll both last me the next 40 years!

I was looking for a better quality nose/ear trimmer as all of them I've had or see are very low cheap quality. After watching a skit on Conan's podcast where his assistant (obsessed with quality) went on a rant about Panasonic ear trimmers from the 80's (obviously embellished but rang a scent of truth), I decided to go with the brand. Just like Jordan in the skit mentions, they do not of course make the same quality as the 80's. No longer made in Japan and not as high quality as we are now in a throw-away/replace society. However, these do shine brighter then the cheap ones. Much more powerful and easy to use! I expect these to last a LOT longer then the cheapy throw away ones from Conair/Wahl brands. PROS: +Power! +No tugging/easy to use +One simple battery (alkaline) +Waterproof (not really testing it that much however) +Small and compact/easy to grip CONS: -Tip is a little big so not super effective for the ear -No different tip to use (for a different type of trim) -Some might not like the shape

Like many products this was obviously once great. But corporate greed has caused the manufacturer to squeeze every cent of profit out by cutting corners at the cost of quality and reliability. Mine worked great out of the box and I used it twice. I could tell by the cheap plastic parts it wouldn't last long but hoped for the best. It stopped working after about 3 weeks. Surprisingly, it wasn't the cheap plastic gears or moving parts that failed. It appears to be a power related issue as it no longer turns on or receives power from the battery. I would avoid this product unless you are ok replacing it often.

No other trimmer can compare to this one. The guard system on this trimmer allows for maximum hair removal. Just be careful not to nick yourself!

This product is typical of Panasonic, does the job and does it well.

This item is banger small and effective uses 1 AA BATTERY. I don't like how you have to search specifically for it cause I feel this should be one of the recommendation when you search nose hair trimmer. It looks amazing and portable and have been extremely effective

I've bought a fair few trimmers in my time. Most are really cheap and nasty that have something that makes them largely unusable. A charger that uses a proprietary plug that gets lost, or have so many bits and pieces that inevitably go missing rendering the whole thing useless. This Panasonic is excellent. It does one job. It does it well. The AA battery I put in mine is still going after months and months, it doesn't have lots of parts that go missing. It's simple to use, and stays sharp.
