After buying a $40 "sterling necklace" with basically a plastic cross for my son I had simultaneously bought this one as I work in harsh environments and didn't want to purchase something too nice. Joke was on me this necklace was way better than his. Nice weight to it, it's the best crucifix pendant on amazon IMO and to top it off this was less than $10. Couldn't believe it. Needless to say his more expensive necklace is somewhere other than his neck (hopefully in the trash) and we have purchased him one of these that he loves and wears daily. Neat box chain comes with it or you could swap the pendant over to a preferred chain. There are negative compliments regarding the chain, but honestly there's nothing wrong with it besides the clasp rings attached the the chain are smaller, but so far they're holding up with no issues.

Upon arrival found chain broken, but was a easy fix. My main reason for purchasing was for the pendant. The quality of the pendant is superb. Solid construction insures confidence of lasting beauty and durability. Can always make it shiny.
