Absolutely love this bookcase! It’s really good quality material, not the particleboard stuff that you usually get at Walmart, Target, etc for similar products. The back of the bookcase is also solid wood as well, the same as the shelves, rather than flimsy cardboard.I think this was a great deal price wise for the quality of the piece, particularly compared to what you would get in most big box stores at this price point. I will definitely be buying a second bookcase for the other side of the living room, for another pop of color!

I love books and am always running out of place to put them. This bookcase is perfect. Not only does it look pretty with the deep, rich color, it’s also a terrific size with a variety of shelf sizes. The price couldn’t be beat too. I got it for 65.00 with a nice coupon (thanks Amazon)!The instructions are clear to follow. I didn’t make any mistakes like I usually do when assembling something. It did take me a bit longer to put it together since I have a bad knee but it wasn’t bad at all.It feels very sturdy and the backing is not some cheap cardboard.I highly recommend it!

Cons:- Holes on the bottom shelf for the legs were not really started/marked, just VERY TINY starts of holes, would not have seen them if I didn’t know they were somewhere around there, needed an electric screwdriver to get the screws through.- No holes at all to complete step seven, you have to make your own with your electric screwdriver.- White pieces of packaging foam everywhere!Pros:- Majority of holes are pre-drilled- Pieces in really good condition- Has a good weight to it/solid feelJust got done putting it together by myself, at the age of 48, took roughly an hour or so. Everything considered it looks really good!

So, I would give this a 3½ ⭐ review, but you can't choose half a star. The main reason is because the very shiny silver screws show all over the whole unit. I read quite a lot of reviews, and didn't see that mentioned. If I had, I probably would've kept looking for another one. As others have mentioned the legs are plastic, seems like 3d printed, so they seem sturdy, and if you use the included wall support, I'm sure it'll be fine. I personally just didn't like the look, but I already knew that about this so no surprise there. Other than that it seems like a sturdy enough unit for my needs. It was also very easy to put together.
