Just Try It! (A Phil & Lil Book)

First, I adore Phil Rosenthal and his show Someone fees Phil. This book is amazingly written and I think might help the picky eater to try food their parent(s) are offering them. The illustrations are on spot. I felt like I was walking around with Phil and Lily as they were seeing all the food trucks around them.

My kids will be trying new food & said “because Phil said, Just Try It!” 😄

My boy who is just starting to be curious about different foods really enjoyed the book! He also started to sing the theme song to somebody feed phil lol. The quality of the hardcover and sleeve are great and the printing of the illustrations inside are very eye catching!

This was a terrific book for kids, particularly ones who don’t want to eat ANYTHING! My 5-year old grandson really liked it, and hopefully, he will take the message to heart and “Just Try It”! Phil Rosenthal and his daughter are a true delight, and their collaboration on this book is wonderful. The illustrations are great, too. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with young kids, even if they ARE good eaters, they would enjoy it.

I am a big fan of the "Somebody Feed Phil" series on Netflix, so I was eager to purchase this book for my children. The overall theme of the story is so familiar - especially for those with young kids. We have only read it once as I just bought it, but I hope this book will encourage them to try different foods...even if they're not entirely familiar with Phil Rosenthal.I, however, really loved the drawings. Very nicely done with beautiful colors and lines. It was a real "feast" for the eyes.
