Faicuk Handheld Bug Zapper Racket Electric Fly Swatter (Cream Blue)

I am very pleased with this product. However, the instructions were written by someone in the 3rd grade. Also, the functionality can be a little confusing at first, especially if trying to figure operation on your own without instructions. Despite these shortcomings, I am so impressed with what I liked about the product, I still gave it 5 stars. Here is what I liked about this item...1) The paddle is flat - Maybe I am not that skilled but I can't make my bug kills in the air. I usually wait to the flying pest lands on a flat surface and then go for the kill. With a flat paddle, you can cover the entire service, entrapping your intended victim without an escape route due to a nonflat paddle. I found other swatters did not have this and bugs could get away.2) Strong Zap - you get an instant kill.3) The rotating paddle head is nice when you want to switch between modes.4) No batteries to replaceAs a public service, I would like to explain its operation. This product has two distinct modes: 1) A wired bug zapper 2) A electrified fly swatter.There is a side switch that goes in three positions... I call this the mode selector switch.Mode 1: The switch is in the top-most position, closest to the electrified paddle. This is used for the "wired bug zapper" mode. To use this mode, the power cable must be plugged in! When in this mode and only after the item is plugged in, you must press the round push button switch at the bottom of the swatter (e.g. furthest away from the paddle) to turn on. I guess the middle position alone wasn't good enough so another button was needed...kinda dumb.Once turned on, these pretty purple LED lights come on and attract the mosquitos/files. Behind the top of the paddle, on the top of the handle, there is a plastic "loop" which you can use to hang the unit to the wall. I just put a simple nail in the wall and hang it that way. Very nice feature and shows they were thinking on this one!Mode 2: The switch is in the middle position. This is the electrified bug swatter mode. In this use, it works off the charged battery. To use, you simply press and hold the oblong button above the mode selector switch. This activates the wire mesh. You must press and hold this for as long as you are going after the target bug. When doing so, the small lightening bolt illuminates in the front. Seemingly useless, there is a white LED that stays and remains illuminated on when in this mode. I see no benefit to this light whatsoever.Mode 3: Switch is in lowest position (furthest away from the paddle). This is the "Useless" mode. Neither Mode 1 or Mode 2 work and there is no functionality available when in this mode. The only purpose I can figure is this was an attempt to make the unit somewhat child safe.

This is one of my favorite purchases on Amazon I have ever made. I live in a heavily wooded area by a lake so insects (especially mosquitos) can get brutal out here. This zapper has been amazing! I take it outside with me during the bad months and it works like a champ. I even bring it with me on walks and get inquires all the time about it. It has also been useful on rouge mosquitos that get inside which I can hear but not pinpoint. Just a wave or two and they are gone. It feels lightweight and comfortable enough to hold even for long periods of time. There is also a light and light buzzing sound so you know it is working. I couldn't recommend enough!

I like that this folds up and can be used to attract flies while plugged in and turned on. I have used it often and it works very well to zap those pesky flies. The only thing that I find a little annoying is that you have to turn it on so the light is on and then press a button so that it will zap the fly. It would be nice to just push one button to do the job. It is light weight, stores easily and gets the job done.

Not a toy ,

I was skeptical at first, I was having a hard time executing but realized it was user error and now my body count is rapidly growing.Pros: I’ve taken out generations of horse flies, wasps, fruit flies and common house flies with ease. It’s light weight and durable. The cons: I don’t like the safety guard, I wish it was easier to take off. The bloodlust, I did not expect the thrill of the hunt to be so consuming. Some of the bigger suckers will require multiple shocks to send em to meet their fly maker, just keep your wits about ya.With two young children at home, this bug zapper has become the greatest source of joy and entertainment for my wife and me, it quite honestly brought us closer together and reignited the passion in our marriage.

I’ve had this for about 1-2 years now and it still works great! Kinda hard to get the bugs on flat surfaces since the border of it is raised but other than that 10/10

Easy to use and works great for gnats. However hard to get flies with and have had twice the shock only stunned it a little. Seems like it’s not strong enough for a quick kill of average flies.

Bought this for a home in Northern Cali. Works great, and every time the grandkids come over they can't wait to zap the flys they find. We're still on the same battery, which seems to last forever.
