It is really difficult to get a good balance between weight and durability/quality. This is an extremely light weight bag at roughly 1kg yet it is very well made. The materials are all water proofed and feel permium to touch in the hand. The zips are of good quality and slide freely with confidence. They all have an interesting rubberised yellow loop attached to them. This may seem like a small thing, but actually the loops are a god send when trying to open the bag with gloves on!There are lots of compartments of various sizes scattered through out. This is great as its easy to separate your packing list into easy to access compartments. Thankfully the central compartment is very large and could even handle a compact sleeping bag or tent. The smaller areas are great though, especially for storing things you would struggle to find in the main hold, such as a toothbrush for example! The straps even have small pouches which are great for chewing gum or batteries!The bag looks quite attractive in my opinion and the contrasting straps should make it easy to keep track of. The straps are flat at the points where they rest on your shoulders - this makes the bag nice and comfortable to wear. There are waist and chest straps, so its easy to get this bag into a position where it cannot swing about. The only con I have found so far is the chest strap is rather secure and makes it hard to disengage when on. I really look forward to taking this bag on my next hike!

Really nice bagpack, good design and good quality. It has compartments everywhere of different sizes, even in the straps it has little ones. Really lightweight, it was expecting it heavier actually. Really comfortable and easy to adapt and adjust it to your back. The fact that it's water resistant is an extra value point. I think the bagpack is a good value for money.

Having just returned from 2 weeks living out of my rucksack I can now comment. It has been very lightweight and comfortable to carry. Large enough for travelling lightweight ( my 2 weeks of clothes 2 pairs of trainers and a towel ) all fitted in well leaving room still to rummage. The only thing that could be bigger was the separate bottom pocket ( where I stashed my dirty clothes till launderette found ). Excellent back padding and comfortable padded main straps. I found I had to fasten bottom waist strap to get pressure of my shoulders but fitted well. ( I'm 5ft6). Pockets easy to open and seemed sturdy as nothing broke on it all though was thrown around. Lime green stood out at baggage airport collection terminals. Would recommend.

My daughter and I chose this for her camping trip with the RAF cadets. Although it would have been cheaper for a 120L bag we were advised that 70L would be sufficient, hence we ordered this one. We weren't expecting too much due to the fairly low price, but as it was all we could afford.... Anyway, it arrived this morning and we have to say that it is all we wanted and more. Seems to be fairly decent quality, has pockets galore and seems plenty big enough to hold all the gear she will need to take. If it should fall apart while she is away, something I am not expecting, then I will add an amendment, otherwise assume it held up well. Recommended.

Great backpack. Lots of compartments to separate gear needed to hand. Purchased for DofE and my Son is very happy with this. He says it's rather light and even loaded which is a good thing when hiking for several miles. Purchased a waterproof reflective backpack cover in addition to backpack to keep everything super dry.

Whent to Thailand backpacking in February. Had all my stuff packed in this backpack. From tech to clothes and cosmetics. Super convenient, many compartments and most important you can compact it for day trips when you leave rest of your things in the hotel. Unless you’re hardcore hiker going really demanding environment you won’t need anything better

Too small for purpose as my son was going to be away for a month, this is really only good for the weekend. However they were brilliant with returns

It’s a very good quality bag, but after six hours of walking my hips and shoulders had pretty bad bruises. It’s not as comfortable to carry for long distances
