Inspired ComfortsMastectomy Recovery Shirt with Drain Pockets & Fasteners to Hold Drainage Tubes

Perfect post mastectomy. Soft, comfortable, roomy in stomach and covered my bum . Ordered 1 size up for ease of fit. Actually felt kind of cute in it. Drain pockets have velcro to hold drain tubing in place. Soft enough to wear next to bare skin. Exactly what I needed.

After breast surgery (or in my case bilateral mastectomies with no reconstruction) you just need something to wear over your surgical bra and dressings that won’t show the blood and other drainage. This is loose and comfortable, and the zip-up front was key. I didn’t worry about ruining a nice article of clothing, but it was still presentable over the black pull-on skort that I wore with it. I wore it home from the hospital, slept in it, and basically wore the same ensemble until both my drains came out. I didn’t end up using the drain pockets, because the drains were attached to the pink surgical Elizabeth bra by Masthead. Overall, it was perfect.

Comfy. The zipper has a cover over it which I have to peel back to zip but it does zip easily. I bought one size larger because I did not want to be constrained after surgery. I'm glad I did as the extra room makes it easier to lug around the surgical drains without worrying about them being tugged at. Three stars for the price; too expensive.

Shirt is soft and inside pockets hold drain bulbs "secretly"! Great functionality.
