Under The Waves (Playstation 4)

I was torn whether to get this game or not as the reviews are mixed. I'm so glad I did. The gameplay is engaging and game world is great to explore.The graphics are excellent and the underwater environment is a joy to see and interact with. One criticism regarding graphics is the fact that Stan (the main character) and other human faces are cartoons. So when Stan looks at photos they look like cartoons and, in my view, that takes a lot away from the realism of the game.There are some bugs: e.g. disappearing flora and fauna when you are close to them and some jerky movements from some of the fish.On the whole, bugs aside, I love it. The story is interesting and I love exploring the ocean. A sequel would be great with improved graphics, bug fixes, more things to find and do.

Loved this game, really nice story, and is very relaxing at times.I’d recommend this game to anyone.

Vary good games 8/10 for me

Under The Waves is visually immersive with some of the most stunning underwater visuals in any game and a decent soundtrack but the narrative and characters certainly could have been more compelling. I was also surprised this wasn't exactly a decision based game.

Unfortunately has major Framerate issues making the gameplay feel sluggish I'd advise look into the PC version to see if that same issue is there . if not obviously buy it

Was hoping, after reading the reviews, that this would be a beautiful ocean scape game. It really is boring and find the graphics basic at best. The ocean life is not done well.The gameplay is extremely dull and to be honest, I’ve got to day 3 in the story and do not want to go any further.Extremely disappointing.

Je suis un grand fan de jeux narratif mais alors là j'étais scotché du début jusqu'à la fin un des meilleurs jeux de l'année 2023.

Top Grafik mit interessanter und spanender Story, eine Unterwasserwelt so gut gemacht, da muss ein zweiter Teil her! Für den Preis ein absolutes Top Game. War von Anfang bis Ende geflasht von dieser Welt.

Une plongée au fond de la mer et de la psychologie humaine...Un grand jeu, plein de poésie et d'à-propos. Pour ceux qui recherchent le dépaysement vidéoludique...Et en plus c'est un jeu Français !! Cocorico.

De jolis graphismes, il faut un peu de temps avant de bien gérer les commandes mais sinon c'est un bon jeu.
