Amazingly excellent
I was given an ARC in return for my honest opinion.Slut starts off with an insight into why Paxton is the way he is, make you love/hate him even more.We see Gabby who is still suffering amnesia from her accident. She's trying to find out about her life with Paxton getting an idea of who she is and what their relathionshp was like pre-accident.When Lane her neighbor helps, Gabby inadvertently finds help from a colleague of Lane's who had been helping her with something before her accident.Nick's a specialist at helping people with memoriy problems, he helps both Gabby and Paxton with the fact he recorded all previous sessions with Gabby. These videos/audio help Gabby see into her past and it lets Paxton know how Gabby had really been feeling about their relationship. It shows their past insecurities from their marriage pre-accident and brings in new ones post-accident. We see how Paxton is dealing with the changes in Gabby behavior and Gabby dealing with everything that's she's learned from her past and how it will impact her future. We also find out the real reason Izzy was visiting Gabby. Also, with the introduction of Gabby's first real friend other than Izzy, strange and kooky Mi, who happens to be Nicks wife.I could have read on with this one. I can't help it,but I think with everything, past and present, Gabby and Paxton do love each other more so now and we know that both are still keeping secrets from one another but it makes their relationship work. With the questions being answered about the past we are left to wonder how and if their dysfunctional happily ever after will last, but I do hope so as I loved both Paxton and Gabby in the end.Was a definite compulsive read, you just had to find out about what happened. I cannot recommend Suit and Slut highly enough, both absolutely brilliant.

Page turner!!!
WOW.... I had read not long finished reading suit which is the first book in the twin duo,but I had to finish this in the one sitting. I was glued to every word, yet again another fantastic read from Jettie Woodruff. So many twists and turns in this book and envisioning it going on in your head. There were a few ( oh my giddy aunt!) moments and a few where I wanted to punch a certain characters lights out. I love plots in a book that you don't know which way it's going to go and this book did it for me right up till the last chapter. I will be purchasing more of Jetties books. As far as I'm concerned to a best seller in my eyes..

I wanted so bad a fresh start for them
I am so used to finish a romance with a HEA and although this give us a HEA, somehow, it left me with a sour taste in my mouth.I have issues with lies. I wanted so bad a fresh start for them, with no lies and so I can not help feeling betrayed. If you already read the book, you might be able to understand me.Before Gabby lost her memory she was seeing a therapist who was trying to help her through hypnosis forget something BAD that happened to her. She wanted to be able to enjoy sex with her husband. With a friend's help she managed to convince the doctor to let her listen to 7 recorded sessions she had with him. The Dear doctor made her a deal: He would let them as a couple listen to 5 of them however, 2 of the sessions, each of them would have to listen as solo. So, Pax listened one session without Gabby and Gabby listened one without Pax.There, session after session, listening to her recorded session of hypnosis, a past she couldn't remember was revealed to her.And here is where I feel betrayed.Pax found out something bad and was supposed to decide to come out clean with her and he chose not to. Gabby never found exactly what was in that file and neither did I.Same happened with Gabby's solo. She found out something BIG, that would crash Pax's feelings and so she chose not to tell him about it. At least here we got to know what it was.The doctor knew it was a game changer for both of them and that is why he wanted to do it this way.I keep trying to remember this is just a story, that I shouldn't feel bad. Convince myself that is was just omission, not a lie. Nevertheless I can't seem to let it go.I wish they had come clean with the bad and the good. Faced it and started from there.Absolutely loved crazy Mia and the girls!

Harsh title, excellent story.
Apart from the extremely harsh title I loved everything about this book! I was reading this every chance I got. I didn't want to put my Kindle down. This second book answers many questions in a very clever way. However there is still so much more to know! I am now almost midway through the next book in this series. I cannot recommend this series enough.

Hated the name of book.
Ok so I read book one (the suit) which I thought this was of same name if you look at cover you will understand. Don't understand either names of each books I would definitely think of renaming them. Hated name of this one. Anyway this book did not even compare to book one it was just to farfetched and a tad borderline overboard. But saying that it was readable and some of it I like just not as much as book one. Did I also mention I hated the name?

GRIPPING STORY YOU CAN'T PUT DOWN!!!!
Well I finished Slut a couple of hours ago and let me tell you, my mind is still reeling and my pulse is still racing. Holy wow Jettie Woodruff, you sure know how to write a gripping story! (but of course I already knew that, being a huge fan) Let me start by saying that if you haven't read Suit, you MUST read it first! This is the second part of the duo. Since I don't want to give ANYTHING away I'm going to refrain from discussing the storyline and will keep this review short and sweet. From the moment this book appeared on my Kindle, I was completely immersed in the lives of Gabby/Izzy, Paxton and those sweet adorable girls Phi and Row. LOVE THEM! I stayed up late hoping I could finish the book in one sitting but sadly that wasn't meant to happen. When I woke up, the first thing I did was reach for my Kindle...didn't matter that my kids needed breakfast and a ride to school. haha! Then I went off to a doctor's appointment where I figured I'd have plenty of time to sit and wait while reading, but nope! They took me on time! No reading! Finally, I got home and settled in with Slut once again and did pretty much nothing else until I finished. It's just that good. The story is gripping and once again just when you think you know something, BAM! You're thrown in a different direction! Twists and turns make up a good amount of this Twin Duo and it's written so well. Jettie Woodruff has a great talent for keeping the reader not only engaged, but literally hanging on the edge of their seat waiting to see what happens next. This is one of my favorite elements of a story and when it's done right it's just tons of awesomeness, as is the case with Slut. There is also a great deal of emotional pull in this book, as there was in Suit. In fact, for me, there was more. The emotions I felt while reading were much more intense, which I think is a product of getting to know the characters on a deeper level. I found myself changing my mind and my feelings towards characters several times throughout the story. It pulled at my heartstrings on many occasions; I often had tears in my eyes, both happy and sad. At times I wanted to throw my Kindle or punch someone out of anger and frustration. I may have screamed at Paxton and at Gabby more than once. For me, as a reader, this is a sign of a very well-written novel. I like to be able to become part of the story, to feel as if I'm there right alongside the characters. So, I will be completely honest here (as I always am in my reviews) and say that I originally intended to give this book 4.5 stars due to the fact that while many questions from Suit were answered, I was left with an unsettled feeling and a lot more unanswered questions based on these new developments. There is a lot left open, considering this is not a trilogy and there was no book 3 coming next. I LOVED this story so much, but when I looked and saw that I was at 98% in my Kindle, I just couldn't believe it. But as luck would have it, just as I was about to sit down and write this review, I learned that THERE WILL BE MORE!! Yes Jettie Woodruff, being the awesome author she is, is giving us MORE in the form of a novella! It will spin off from this duo, and hopefully will provide the much-needed closure to this gut-wrenching story. However, regardless of this new development I think this series is absolutely amazing, and I do highly recommend reading it. Jettie Woodruff has done an outstanding job and I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.

The first book was better...
... I mean it managed to keep my interest alive enough for me to start reading the second installment right after. But I'm afraid this book has diverted to an unexpected direction and turned out to be a kind of a soap-opera-mess to me. Besides, things were dragged on so much that I soon started losing interest. I noticed that even in the first book I read of this author. Some questions remained unanswered or maybe I lost track of something, I don't know. I give up.

Twist and Turns
Very powerful read with lots of paths to navigate, who said love isnt smooth sailing, paxton and Gabbie or is it Izzy thats who. Trying to find love and acceptance in a world of secrets, and trying to accept the love you have for each other and be a family at the same time. Loved this series xx

5 hook line and sinker stars for the dumb fish. Excellent read.
The story begins with a prologue. This prologue explains how Gabby met Paxton. Later when secrets are revealed this prologue will make more sense. In fact, it's a good idea to revisit this prologue after you finish reading.Gabby is in prison. She was accused of impersonating a twin, possibly killing a person, and fraudulent hospital bills. After the accident Gabby suffered from amnesia. Gabby forgot her life with Paxton and had to learn about her life step by step. This is the story about the lies that were hidden long before the amnesia claimed her.First on the agenda is to figure out who she is. Then try to remember her past. Finally unlock the secrets to a past that was locked away.Jettie wrote an interesting story ladled with lies from many characters. Jettie built a story so mysterious that even I'm having a difficult time unlocking the clues. When the clues are available very little is revealed. So many twists to the words. I'm amazed how Jettie kept the story together with all the different angles. It is a game of mind fuckery. It's a tug of war on your emotions. It's definitely not your typical romance. My head is clouded by the dialogue. So many scenarios are running through my mind. I'm trying to not read too much into the words. Trying not to overanalyze each word.It reads nothing like the first book. The first book took you on journey into Gabby and Paxton's world. Book two is a journey of self discovery for Gabby. Thru new eyes Gabby has a new perspective on life. Since Gabby remembers very little about her past its to her advantage to take chances in life and become a new person. Paxton has no idea what to think about Gabby. He is at times convinced Gabby is Izzy.In a round about way through all the lies and confusion Gabby and Paxton find each other in a new arrangement. It's an unconventional love that follows no social standards just the standards that they create for themselves.Jettie used powerful words to convey a twisted story about Gabby. The way she chose to unlock that secret was intuitive.Just when you are invested in hearing the truth blam Jettie changes the rules and delivers more surprises. The surprises were unexpected and shocking. While uncovering the secret we have Gabby's version, Paxton's version, and then the truth. Wow! What a play on words. It's the blame game or the victim game. These two really were the perfect storm of two kinds of crazy. Curiosity of the unknown can be damaging but without the knowledge of the unknown we are left wondering.Jettie definitely kept me wondering. Another twin duo is to be released in December promising more from Gabby and Paxton. What a thrilling ride.

Great Conclusion For A Twisted Story!
I am so thankful that Jettie Woodruff released this sequel so quickly. I've been anxiously awaiting this book ever since finishing the first book a few weeks ago. Luckily, the wait was a short one!Picking up right where the first book left off, Gabby is in a world of trouble. Early on, she gets released from jail, only to dive into the mystery that is her life. She's determined to figure out who she is and uncover the details of her life that led up to the accident. The secrets of her life are revealed to her in bits and pieces, as she begins reviewing recordings of her therapy sessions. Listening to her catalogued life events proves to be an emotional experience, as truths regarding her relationship with Paxton come to light. The process is both painful and healing for Gabby, causing her to question her every feeling toward Paxton.Paxton spends equal parts of his time being an abusive, controlling ass, contrasted by a kinder, remorseful version of himself. He is desperate to hold on to Gabby, by any means necessary. While recognizing that his actions have been deplorable, he doesn't regret that it brought him Gabby and cannot deny that he enjoyed the outcome.I continued to enjoy every minute of Gabby and Paxton's story. Their relationship is abusive and disturbing, but also loving and damaged. Despite their flaws, I am drawn to these characters and their story.I was happy with the way things ended for the most part. I did feel like everything tied up a little too nicely at the end, with everything just falling into place the way it did. I also wanted to know what the secret was that Paxton never revealed to Gabby. I guess honesty and full disclosure was too big of a leap for these two, but it did seem contradictory to the "perfect" ending. Overall, I thought it was a terrific read!
