I tried these on my kids first. I usually do because they use standard size pillows and the search for the perfect pillow is cheaper that way.After a while I decided I was jealous of how comfortable they were and impressed by how well they were holding up. (I had to look to see how old they were and I was surprised to realize they had them for over a year!)Of course, if we are sleeping on it (spending ⅓ of our lives with our faces on it) I want something chemical free, organic etc, but it also MUST be washable. Not sort of washable, but able to be truly cleaned when covered in bodily fluids ... CLEAN! These pillows are great for that too! They take a bit of time to dry, but they do get completely dry, which is important to me living in a coastal community with high humidity.I decided to finally write a review after several friends have asked where I got them. These are slightly more costly than the average pillow, but the cheaper ones never last past 6 months and I have a few that are more expensive that aren't holding up or can't be cleaned.... Hands down best bang for your buck if you love a soft, fluffy pillow that doesn't flatten the moment your head hits it, is easy to clean and seems to last forever!

Very floppy and heavy, but I wish there was some sort of "connective fiber" inside preventing all the rubber clumps from shifting so drastically. The shredded latex is by nature heavier and doesn't stick to itself like shredded memory foam, so if you hold the pillow up by two corners, that side will drain completely of any material, like a loose bean bag. That means in the middle of the night, all the rubber shifts away from your head leaving a ditch that can only be filled by picking up the entire pillow and shaking it out.When it's freshly fluffed and the rubber is evenly distributed, it's too tall and dense for someone with narrow shoulders like me. After about two weeks of sleeping on it, I started waking up in the middle of the night with throbbing cramps in my neck. Wouldn't recommend for anyone of slighter stature, or anyone who dislikes having to constantly rearrange their pillow innards. Hoping I can successfully return this.

Pillows are hard to shop for, everyone is different. This pillow is the best one I have ever owned. I bought one and liked it so much that I bought 2 more. The pillow does have an odor at first. I gave it a couple days to air out after that I put it in a pillow case and stuck a dryer sheet on either side pillow inside of the pillow case and let it set for another day or so. This worked like a charm to take care of the odor. To bad companies didn't air out the shredded latex before they made the pillow. That would solve the main complaint some people have and let the rest of us use this excellent pillow the first day we get it.Updated: I ordered 2 more of these pillows and they were different. First, the item no longer has a zipper in the bamboo cover, then there is an issue with the amount of shredded foam in the pillow. There was much less shredded foam in the pillows the second time I purchased them so I deducted a star. Will update again after I see how the seller handles my complaint.

I was looking for a pillow option that would have fewer chemicals for me to inhale while sleeping (just trying to be healthy, I don't have a sensitivity), and when it arrived, it had a latex smell, but it dissipated significantly after I had a fan blowing on it for a few hours. There aren't any organic seals or verification of the material other than 'natural' (which doesn't really mean anything), but I'd bet that this is a better alternative to a lot of the other pillow options. I also had the pleasure of trying this pillow on two different mattresses and I found out something interesting.Some reviews complain that this pillow is just right, and other complain that this pillow is too full or too firm. The first time I tried to sleep with this pillow, I was sleeping on a cheap mattress with a 4" memory foam topper and a 3" pillow top topper. Overall, I would say that the mattress was soft with all of the cushion on top. When I first tried this pillow, it made my neck hurt. It was too firm.I recently got a new mattress that is much firmer. When I was using my old pillow, it felt like my pillow provided no support and my head was too low. When I tried this latex pillow, it was just right! I think that softer mattresses that let you sink in cause the angle of the pillow to be too severe, but a firmer mattress reduces the angle and makes a firmer pillow more necessary for proper head and neck support.Other reviews talk about how this pillow is bouncy, and I must admit that it does have a slight bouncy effect. I do feel like my head was still able to 'rest' though, and the bounciness didn't really bother me. Overall, I haven't had this pillow long, but I'd say this is a quality product, and I hope the clarification about your mattress helps people!

I'm laying on the pillow as I write this. It was great right out of the box for a wonderful night sleep. It's definitely a high loft which makes it great for reading and watching TV if that's your thing. Being shredded vs solid (all my other latex pillows) makes it much more versatile without sacrifice any of the support. I labored over buying this pillow for a long term while researching others but always came back to this one. I made the right choice. Loving it after day one!

4 stars because the cover is not removable & it's not washable. I also would like to see on the label more info if it's all natural?!??? Otherwise, I LOVE this pillow as far as comfort goes! I bought a brand new bamboo memory foam one & this one to compare! Love this one 100 times more. It molds to you & you can move it around to remold any way. I'm returning the memory foam mainly bc of the toxins/chemicals but also bc of comfort!

Very fluffy and never goes flat. I gave it 4 stars, because I had to open it on one end, remove some of the shredded latex inside, then sew it closed again. The pile was too high for me. But the large men in my family LOVE their micro cushion comfort latex pillows. Now that I've removed some of the padding from mine, it's great. Be careful if you remove some of the padding - it's a messy process.
