So comfy, fit great but are also slouchy at the same time
First of all, here are the S-M-L waist sizes from the Levi's website. Levi's has posted their numerical sizes on this listing although these jeans are offered in lettered S-M-L sizes. I followed this sizing I found on their website and my son's jeans fit perfectly: XS = waist 26-28 inches. S = waist 29-31 inches. M = waist 32-34 inches. L = waist 35-37 inches. XL = waist 38-40 inches. Now for the review: My son is a skateboarder and he loves these jeans. He says the slouchy look in jeans is back after years of skinny jeans. These jeans are perfect for him because the elastic waist is comfortable and gives a great fit, while the overall fit is more slouchy and then becomes somewhat tapered at the ankle. This cut makes them great for skateboarding or any other activity you might do, since it is kind of a hybrid between jeans and athletic pants/sweats. The denim is not super thick, it is a bit thinner than traditional Levi's, which also allows for comfort and movement. As far as style goes, my son likes the loose fit, which he says is "in" now. He also likes the large square pockets which add to the oversized look, and of course he likes the red Levi's tag. The elastic waist means these are super comfortable and the hidden drawstring lets you get the perfect fit, so his pants overall are loose but the waist is not, meaning they won't fall down during the middle of a skateboarding trick. My son also likes that these jeans have a working button and zipper, so it doesn't look or feel like he is wearing little boy's pull-on jeans. The fabric seems to be preshrunk, as these jeans didn't shrink in the washer and dryer.Overall these are super comfy and have a great slouchy fit, yet thanks to the drawstring, you can get a good fit in the waist. The have a great oversized look but aren't too wide at the ankles. My son loves them, and loves that they are from the classic brand Levi's with a red tag.

These lightweight Levis should be okay with summer heat.
Hi. I am very pleased with these comfortable, zero break-in required, Levis. The cotton / hemp (yes, seriously, hemp) fabric blend is very soft and the fabric is lightweight. As I mentioned in the title, these pants are so lightweight (for Levis) that they likely will be wearable during warm weather. The fit of these jeans is loose but not saggy/baggy. The main pockets are deep and the always useful coin pocket is surprisingly large. In my mind, these are kick-back jeans that would be fine to wear to run to the store but may be a little too casual for a restaurant.Regarding their fit … I am male, 5’ 11” tall and I weigh approximately 170 pounds. I have a 34” waist and a 32” pants inseam. With those measurements in mind, I selected the “Medium” and they fit me fine. Still, it would have been helpful if the Levi’s waist/inseam sizing table above on this page included a column that showed the appropriate “XS-S-M-L-XL” format size to select. Having that info beats guessing ….The takeaway: These are very comfortable, lightweight, jeans that fit well and should be wearable in hot weather.

Nice for around the house
Real comfy, light weight, can pull em on without unbuttoning or unzipping.First pair of baggy jeans my wife thought looked good. The tapered bottom makes it work.BUT, Should have come with belt loops, would rather use a belt than a long shoe string to keep my pants up.

Amazingly comfy and surprisingly so since they seem super-large when you get them
These pants took me by surprise. When they came out of the packing, they were definitely Levi's -- unmistakable so, but after a (long) life of buying Levis, I'd never seen anything like this (for men). They have a drawstring -- on the inside and a button on the outside which would be strange if I hadn't been able to figure it out -- and I'm slow. They seemed enormous, and in trying them on, I had to roll up the cuffs. But I laundered them today and dried them on low and they came out -- kinda wonderful.First, tie the drawstring and then button them, and it's fine. Do it in reverse and it's adventures in confusion. They are airy and wonderful. I'm not sure I would wear these to a public function but on a dayhike where shorts and even sweats wouldn't do, or for puttering around on weekend errands or at the diner, these are perfect.Maybe it's from two years of pandemic, sitting around in sweatpants and pajamas, but these may actually help me transition to reality. A BIG surprise.

Nice, But too Large
These are very nice quality, and wonderful for just lounging around the house. That being said, these are voluminous. Hubby refuses to wear them. He is a 34 waist, so we ordered medium. NOPE, the crotch hangs down too low, and they are just wayyyyy to much material. I knew I would need to hem them, but will now just reconstruct them with scissors and my sewing machine. If you are a larger man, these would be wonderful. There is a trend now with male clothing being looser and more comfortable. These are that.....just not for my traditional button-fly hubby.
