It takes some practice and you have to make sure you are sealing it on the same direction of the flap in the back of the bag. Once you get a used to it it seals great.

Need to turn on and let it heat up for a good minute before using. Seals bags of chips, cereals, snacks etc well enough so items don't spill out but, if bag is pressed air still leaks out - not an airtight seal for long term storage.

As another reviewer stated, but was an impulse buy that I didn't have a lot of high hopes in however, this works great... I like the small hand held size. This will be perfect for us as we will buy chips and always trying to deal with unopened bags with various clips. As soon as we received it, we tried it and without allowing a lot of time to heat up, it worked well.I like the face that it has a magnet allowing you to hang on the fridge or maybe even pantry shelf.I would recommend this if you have opened bags that need to be sealed (mainly chips) due to portable size, ease of use and not overly expensive.

It seals fine, but I can't get it to seal from one side of the bag to the other without someone holding it firmly in place. I'm not able to use it without help, so it's pretty much can't use it.

When I opened the package I didn’t think it would work very well, but I was certainly surprised, because it worked great! It did exactly what it was suppose to do. It was easy to use, and sealed my bags without any problems. Even though you can use it as soon as you turn it on, I let it warm up for a couple of minutes to ensure the heat is to it’s maximum. This was a good purchase for me!!

I like this device. It was an impulse buy, and I know those don’t always work out. However, I have found this very useful. I despise the slightest bit of stale and I have had no problem with stale using this product to re-close my chip packages. It is a little awkward to learn how to use but with practice it gets easier. If this one ever gives out, I will purchase replacement. Best idea turn it on a minute before you want to use it to warm it up and don’t forget to turn it off..

I purchased this little gadget to seal up chip bags. It works just as advertised! Mine came with two AA batteries and I installed them very quickly and easily. Turn the unit on with the little button waited a minute or two and sealed close some Dorito chips! There is a trick, don’t slide the unit over the back opening too slow but yet don’t zip it really fast either just go at a steady pace and it will seal your bag perfectly! I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase one lol shipping was very quick 1.1 million. Thank you seller thank you Amazon.
