Great product. May be heavier or larger than ideal for some as a travel shoehorn.
Frist, my situation: I am in my mid 60's and not as flexible as I was 20 years ago. I usually wear tennis/running-like shoes and am too lazy to untie and retie them each time (Always have been but now, in my 60's, I have more of an excuse).I think these are great (I bought the 2-pack (shorter 7.5" / longer 16.5" though I haven't verified the length). They are very sturdy, the edges are rounded enough to not be a risk of wearing out shoes or socks, the lengths seem quite appropriate for home use, and they are rigid (not as necessary to me but some people think they should not have any flex). I keep the long one in my bedroom for when I sit on the end of my bed to put on shoes. The shorter horn is great when sitting on a lower chair. This makes it easier on the backs of my shoes and I can keep them tied a little tighter than if I just use my finger to guide my shoes on.Criticisms:I don't have any but some others do. Some say that it is too big and heavy for travel. That would certainly be true if you are going backpacking and may very well be true if you want to throw one into a bag or purse to keep with all the time -- a lighter weight sturdy plastic one would be what to look for if that is the goal. As for the complaints about them bending or breaking ??? Perhaps a few people have gotten flawed products but these are really sturdy. I can't imagine even the long one bending in anything even close to normal use. If someone can bend this in their normal use (or even abusive use) I don't think there are any shoehorns on the market that would work for them. I wouldn't advise using them for prying open a wooden crate that has been nailed shut; use a Stanley Wonder Bar (R) for that. The Wonder Bar (R) would not be a good choice as a shoehorn, though -- it is too thick, heavy, and has no curve to guide or cradle the heel.

Sturdy and Well Made Shoehorns
I never used a long shoehorn before. That took way too many years to realize how helpful they are. Very sturdy and smooth design. It's nice having the small one for travel. Great product at a great price.

Works perfectly
I purchased these for my husband who is having back issues. Putting on his boots was difficult. The long length shoe horn makes it so easy for him to get his boots on. They are compact enough for storage and will hang on a hook. They are a quality made product and should last a lifetime.

Thick and quality made. Works as intended.

Very sturdy but also 'heavy metal.'
These work great, but they are heavy. I gave my husband the tall one and I keep the shortie. Your dogs won't steal them.

Works great.
These are perfect. Some of the shoes you buy now days are very comfortable but to get them on is hard because they are small at the mouth. The 18 inch spoon helps you not to have to bend over any. Stick the spoon in the mouth & slip those shoes right on đ5 stars. You can thank me later. đ

Love wearing dress shoes again!
Transform your shoe-putting-on experience from a circus act to a breeze! Say goodbye to the awkward contortions that make you look like a pretzel and hello to a shoehorn thatâs as easy to use as a remote control. Its perfect length means you wonât have to do yoga to reach your shoes, and itâs so lightweight, you might forget youâre holding it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to keep their dignity intact while getting dressed!
