2.5 out of 5 Stars for this glimpse of Brad de Luca
*** Do not read this before having read Blindfolded Innocence, Book 1 of the series! ***Brad De Luca is a 34 year-old very successful divorce attorney, handsome, sexy and charming. But he is also a notorious manwh... with a thriving sexuality. Brad has always wanted to settle down, but failing to find someone to accept his sexual energy and penchant on the long-run, he has long lost the hope in any long-term relationship. And now, for some reason, he wants to conquer Julia Campbell, the innocent intern that had never been brought to orgasm before and please her - but will Julia be enough to satisfy his needs?"Brad de Luca didn't get rejected. Especially not by a twenty-something intern who had probably never been properly f...ed in her life.""She was innocent, inexperienced, yet bruned with fire, curiosity, and challenge. His body was ready for the task, pushing against the starting gate, wanting to f... her senseless and brand her forever as his own."The Diary Of Brad de Luca gives you more insights on Brad's transformation from manwh... to p...whipped lover. I was actually looking forward to reading Blindfolded Innocence from Brad's point of view, but that's exactly what this book was: nothing but a recounting of Blindfolded Innocence.I unfortunately don't feel like I learned much more about Brad, which is why to me, this short story (which averages a 30 minute read) is not necessarily a "Must Read". Also, note that I am writing this review after having read the full series up until the end, so don't get hung up on the rating I gave this short-story.Part 2 and 3 of the Innocence Series totally make up for it!

An intriguing, fun albeit very brief POV from Brad DeLuca,
Short, easy read. I liked this peep into Brad DeLuca's head. He is simply delicious and I found if quite enjoyable to follow his thoughts as he meets Julia and the early days of their relationship. The book does not go into detail like the original book. It is a brief foray of his thinking at critical points in the first book. What I found interesting and funny is that when he realizes that Julia is inexperienced in spite of two previous relationships, he knows he needs to back off and leave her alone but he has her in Vegas at this point and what's a guy with a very strong sexual appetite supposed to do?I missed this little nugget of a story until after I had read all three books in the trilogy. It is not necessary to the other stories at all but I enjoy all things Brad and Julia so for me it was a win-win.

Hurry up with more De Luca!
This was great! But went by so quickly. I wish it was at least novella length. But it helped soothe my book hangover a bit for Brad De Luca! This story basically goes back reenacting what happened in "Blindfolded Innocence" but this time around from Brad's POV. Puts even more of a perspective on the situation knowing what he was thinking as this all unfolded.I just wish there wasn't such huge gaps waiting on the sequels to these amazing books because book #2 "Masked Innocence" won't be out till February 2014. Why does that feel as if its 5 years from now? lolBut I'm sure it'll be amazing as well though. And I can't wait to find out what will happen next between Brad & Julia. 5 stars!

OK read, but nothing new revealed
Rating: 3 StarsA short novella from Brad's point of view of meeting and wanting Julia. This included some retelling of the scenes in "Blindfolded Innocence". It was nice to be inside of Brad's head to understand his reactions to Julia. Why Not 5 Stars? There was not enough meat to this novella. I did not learn anything new from Brad's perspective. I would have enjoyed this if it covered everything he did during the post-Vegas time apart. Did he use sex as a distraction? If so, with who? What was he doing during that period of time? We only received reactions, but no details on what he did. To be honest, I don't think this book was needed. It did not add any additional value to the story. Just my two cents.

Fills in the blanks
First off, if you haven't read Blindfolded Innocence, you need to start there. I'm rating this a 4. I wished the author had clarified a few things somewhat more on detail, but I know from Brad's POV and maintaining some "mystery" about him why Ms Torre kept it short but sweet. Brads still an ass but I love that I got a point of view from his perspective. I'm excited to see under his shell and get an inkling of hope for some normalcy in his relationship with Julia. In blindfolded innocence you never know what's going on fully in his head, even though you see glimpses of what this book shows. Somewhere under Brads facade is a man looking for his happy ever after too. This allows the reader a nice in depth look at Brad during the majority of blindfolded innocence, it's a good fill in from a different POV leading the way to the end of Book #1.

Couldn't get enough Brad De Luca!!!
I'm a sucker for a male POV and I couldn't resist reading about my current male crush with Brad De Luca. I dropped one star because it was very short and I wish I would of had a bit more detail into his POV which is what I thought the novellette was about.*** Spoiler alert***Julia (Brad's love interest) proclaims in the first book that she has never reached an orgasm and has never had a man go down on her. Not only is this a challenge for Brad but this is a big momentus part of the their sexual discovery and for me it fell a bit short. It is starting to become a pet peeve of mine that authors go into full detail of when the female lead performs a sexual act but when it is reversed it fades to black. I just think it was a bit of a lost opportunity to bring more steam to that scene and to really give you that POV.With that said though I am really enjoying this series, I think this is a must read along wtih the series. I am now a fan of Alessandra Torre. Can't wait to see what happens next with Brad & Julia.

This is a 5 STAR SERIES!! So I find myself compelled to give 5
Brad with his particular sexual needs, a pleaser of women but a man who doesn't 'do' relationships, is suddenly faced with someone he finds fascinating... Where would it take him? This novella is told entirely from Brad's point of view and is meant as a companion to the first book in the series. It highlights certain scenes from Brad and Julia's initial story, Blindfolded Innocence.I debated considerably as to whether I should read this little novella. Would it add anything for me? To the characters or the story?"...one night with her could be well worth the downfall."Various friends, as always, had various opinions. Those who were unsure of their Brad-love in the first book seemed to warm to him a little more, hearing his perspective. I was already a Brad De Luca Lover so, for me personally I found it didn't add any development to the characters or the story but in essence it was a little treat of extra's, all in the name of Brad, and I'll take a dash of extra Brad any which way I can. How about you?Her potential for what? Well, you need to read the epic Innocence series and discover for yourself. Experience Mr De Luca

tut tut !
First,I do not hate it,as 1 star implies but it is a complete rip-off Pretty much a total waste of money It is very brief even by novella standards, and there is nothing in it that has not already been covered in Blindfolded Innocence The events are the same as it covers Brad's point of view on various things that happened in book one,but it is kind of obvious that he is thinking what this novella spells out, when reading the first book There is nothing new here I expected to be given an insight into his character Very disappointing

Frustrating waste of money
I’m a massive Alessandra Torre fan so I ignored the reviews here and still bought this book. Even knowing this is a novella, it is a waste of money. You don’t really get any extra insight into Brad and the scenes that you’d like to see included are generally missing. I heartily recommend you buy any other Alessandra Torre book but, unfortunately, this a frustrating read that was over practically before it began.
