Good sound. Lousy durability
Pretty good sound but mine fell apart within the first few weeks

They work, but are not not particularly impressive
I don't dislike these headphones, but I don't really like them, either. They have a kind of cheap, plastic feel. They rattle when you shake them. Now, don't get me wrong, they work fine, but they just don't feel like a premium product. They do the job well enough, but don't expect anything special.

Very impressive for a budget headphone, handles everything I throw at them
I was looking forward to trying these as I haven't tried any folding/portable headphones since my first Sennheiser HD280 about 20 years ago. In addition, the few on-ear headphones I've tried are large and nearly surround my large ears. I've never tried any SoundMagic headphones and was surprised at how great these sound, especially at this price point. I expected them to either have boomy bass or no bass at all, but these have a lot of deep bass and the highs are just right for my taste without being sibilant (although some city pop recordings I played had the female vocals a little too low). I think with a little bit of EQ tweaking could really cater to most people's tastes if not already as it comes out of the box. They don't clamp onto my fairly large head but they actually block a reasonable amount of outside noise even considering they the earpads don't go around your ears but sit on top. These lightweight headphones were great when listening to 2Pac and Schoolboy Q and I threw some Incubus and Blackpink and Japanese Breakfast in there and the sound was still solid. I haven't used them for long periods of time, but I don't foresee them being fatiguing or uncomfortable to listen to or wear. I'm now definitely interested in trying out the other SoundMagic models. Can't comment on their performance in gaming and I've yet to try them directly from a phone but I think they sound fine directly through my MOTU M2 headphone output on my PC. Highly recommended! Note: I've owned a lot of mid-tier audio gear in my time but am far from a proper audiophile. I've settled on my current setup of HD58X, DT770, Moondrop Aria, and AirPods Pro 1 with a Magni Heresy and MOTU M2. This SoundMagic P22C has earned its spot as an all-around portable headphone as an alternative to my cheaper Koss headphones and it'll be in the rotation for as long as they hold up.

Very comfortable! Perfect for travel!
First I want to say the ear pieces are a nice feeling material, higher-grade than average for sure. They are extremely comfortable to wear, and I notice a substantial amount of noise cancellation.. They fit very well and can be customized a bit for larger and smaller heads. The overall build quality is high, and I like how they fold up and come with a storage bag. They also sound above-average as well, an upgrade over what is shipped with most phones for example. And for this price ($35), they sound quite good all in all! -If they are being used for movies or gaming, I'm sure they'd serve that purpose well. Everything comes through clear sounding, and the frequency coverage is good. I think these would be perfect for airplane and travel use, as the noise cancellation and comfort are very high. I also did some listening with MQA (master's quality audio) tracks through a pretty good DAC.. and mostly was surprised by the detail and decent bass they offered. They sound better than most options in this price range. In summary, they are very pleasant to use due to their comfort and convenient ability to fold up.. they'll be coming with me on my next vacation for sure!
