Sturdy and works well.
Bought this to replace the spindle that I made myself to spin on. It’s a world of difference already and I’m having so much fun using it. Comes with a little case that is kinda cheapy and hard to zip but still is nice to contain everything when you’re taking a break from spinning. The flower design is pretty, it feels sturdy and well balanced and it spins well.

Very nice and Easy to use....
I have been spinning while going through cataract surgery and thought this looked nice. It is lighter than my other spindles, and does not spin for as long. It I longer than my other spindles, so I am able to spin more. It does not spin as stable as my other spindles, but I got used to resting the tip while plying. But the really wonderful part is the petals give me notches all the way around so no matter where I stop I can wind it and rehook anywhere. I was amazed with how much time this saves. My other spindles have one notch, which can mean a bit of fiddling around to properly wind and hook again. For that reason alone, I recommend this spindle. It was also a great price, looks nice, and is holding up well. I am spinning merino combed top, very fine (finished 3-ply is aboutn12-14 wpi), and chain-plying.

It works fine for me.
I finally bought a top whirl spindle and made myself learn to use it. All my other spindles are bottom whirls and this one works just fine. The weight is 1.8 oz. The design is pretty and functions as a hold for the yarn.

Pretty spindle with nice case.
This is a great value and was the perfect size for me. It is a lovely spindle and it comes in a lovely case (that was a big bonus). I would have loved to have kept it but the shaft was bowed, so it wasn’t usable for spinning a good balanced yarn.

Spins well
Well balanced. Spins well enough to make sock or finger-weight yarns in wool or silk. I cannot speak to durability as I have only had it a couple weeks at this stage.

Beautiful design
It's a beautiful spinner, I give it 5 stars because it works great, I'm just terrible at using it, not the sellers fault. Everything is sturdy and looks amazing, if you need a drop spindle I recommend this one

Fantastic drop spindle
I’m new to spinning and this drop spindle is just amazing. I love with the rosewood one how each petal acts as it’s own notch. While trying to learn, having that level of versatility is a game changer. I agree with another person that it is a bit heavier than I originally thought it would be, but overall it spins very well. I mostly use it as a top-down spindle so I can’t speak much to it as a bottom-up, but I really enjoy how consistent the spin is. Once you get it going it’ll keep it up for awhile, which is great for me as someone who likes to draft while the spindle is spinning below me. I’d definitely recommend to any other beginner spinners or anyone looking for a spindle with a bit of versatility
