These cedar planks and cedar sachet muslin pouches were packaged beautifully and even the manufacturer box was nice enough that you'd feel good about giving this set as a gift. Included in the set is a small sheet of sandpaper (if you need to smooth down any rough edges on the planks - mine were perfectly smooth) and the manufacturer included pre-cut lengths of twine so that you can loop the planks over a hanger or onto your closet pole. This set was thoughtfully prepared and packaged. A fantastic gift idea for house or apartment warming and a must if you want to protect wool clothing against moth damage. Even if you just want a light natural refreshing scent for your closet or chest of drawers, this would be perfect!

Unconventional use. These make a great fishing lure. Carves well.

We were hoping that they would do a better job of removing a smell in an enclosed area, but have ordered cedar planks instead.

Product was definitely worth the money; many planks with cords and sachets. Only disappointment was that they didn't have a definite cedar smell like I thought I was going to get. I remember when I was a child that smell of cedar "balls", or the little trinket boxes. Not sure how they're gonna take the funk out of my husbands work clothes in the drawers if there isn't that nice clean smell.Wasn't sure what the included sand paper was for. No "instructions" included, so not sure if it was just to refresh the smell at some point, or if it was necessary to use it initially.

Maybe these will help a moth problem, I don't know - but if you're looking for a nice cedar scent, FORGET IT! Maybe I got a bad batch, but I tried wetting, and sanding as suggested . . . Nothing. Save you money and look elsewhere. I feel like I wasted my money on these bland, falsely advertised cedar sticks.

Arrived fine, but the cedar smell didn't even last a month. Not worth buying in my opinion. But hey, I found a use for them anyway, painted them, added vinyl sayings, made cute door hangers out of them!
