The size of the pad is sufficient, but the material feels cheap. The nylon makes noticeable crinkling sounds when you move, which is quite annoying while sleeping. Comfort was also an issue; the pad feels too thin, and the air chambers don’t provide good support. Overall, it didn’t work well for a restful night. Bottom line: Due to noise and lack of comfort, I returned the pad. Not efficient for camping if sleep quality matters.

This is a surprisingly comfortable mat to sleep on. I’m a woman with hips, and this one successfully stops me from getting ground contact when I side sleep. It packs down very small and very light. It does take a little extra effort to inflate manually with the bag but only 4-5 times needed and it’s sorted. So negligible. I find it easier to pack down than self inflating versions. The ”air” bag is great to have if you want to have an extra stash of water for camping (drinking/cooking/shower). And really is multi use. It definitely saves time if water source is a little ways from your camp. Depending on your needs, I’d recommend. I mostly use it in relatively mild 4 seasons. And it’s held up through winter months in NSW. If you are dealing with snow/require excellent insulation I’m not sure this would be the best bet. But so far it’s done well with winter temps. And it keeps you well off the ground with the mat height when inflated.
