Lincsfire 3 Blades Eco Friendly Silent Heat Powered Stove Fan for Wood/Log Burner/Fireplace + Free Stove Thermometer

I was in two minds whether to buy a stove fan, people seemed to love them or say they were a waste of money.The heat build up around my stove was very noticeable and i thought a fan could only help with the dissipation of it. I chose this fan as a few purchasers had mentioned quality.I have to say i am delighted with the product and the results obtained. The fan and thermometer appear to be of a high quality, well manufactured and very well presented.Holding your hand in front of the fan you can clearly feel warm air blowing out my guess is it feels like about 0.5kw if it helps. The area around the stove is not as hot and the heat has to be going somewhere which must be into the room.In summary a very effective fan that does circulate the heat around the room and it is silent.

Maybe not quite silent but pretty close..So, the fan makes it's own electric. The blades are driven by a small electric motor, like runs those little hand held battery fans. And it makes a similar amount of noise.Air movement.Seems a few reviewers say they don't move much air. I'd argue that. I can feel air movement at least 1m (3') from the fan, even with a hot fire.The thermometer.Hasn't changed how I run my wood burner. But is useful with the fan, as it let's you confirm your fire isn't too hot.

I bought this because my woodburner is in my conservatory and I'm a cheapskate who wanted to try and heat the rest of the house using this gizmo!! I have to say that I'm impressed, even my dog has moved out of the conservatory and into the lounge! I was sceptical to say the least and the first time I used it I was dying to give the fan a little push to get it going. However, I forgot about it soon after lighting the woodburner and found that it was whizzing around all on its own, pushing the heat around. It is seriously quiet, worth spending the extra couple of quid if you are thinking of getting one. My husband even took his cardy off! Like it, recommended it.

I was sceptical at first in relation to the ability of these fans to perform as described however I have now had this fan for about 3 weeks and it’s absolutely brilliant. It warms the room quicker and used in conjunction with the thermometer I use far less wood and burn at the correct temperature most of the time. It’s a sturdy design and looks good on our wood burner and makes a real positive difference to how I manage my stove. Don’t know how it works as it’s powered by the heat of the stove alone but it works really well. Great product.

Bought this after seeing fan at someone’s house - thermometer added bonus. Really pleased with product which was commented on by Christmas visitors. Thermometer enables me to see when logburner is operating at optimal temperature so reducing creosote build-up - I burn kiln dried ash logs and didn’t realise that this could be an issue.

I have been considering an eco fan for sometime and when I decided to purchase a second chimney thermostat I found these together at a really reasonable price. I can say they are well made and real quality. The fan was positioned on top of my woodburner and as the thermostat rose so the speed of the fan increased pushing hot air around the room (smashing) cannot understand why I never made this investment earlier. If you are considering something like this for your burner it's brilliant.

I’m still not sure if this is actually making any different but it does feel warmer in the room and house though it needs a wee poke to get it going though.
