You do need the correct ground of coffee otherwise it won't be strong enough. It fits our Nespresso machine perfectly. Easy to use and wash out.

In theory, these aluminium reusable Nespresso pods are a great idea, you can use them not only for coffee, but also hot chocolate, tea, fruit tea, hot milk and combinations, like mocha (coffee and chocolate powder which I tried and it worked), but in practice they take up a lot of preparation time, especially as you only get 2 capsules, 5-6 would have been more beneficial, it’s so much easier to just pop in your normal Nespresso capsule, rather than measuring out, pressing down, but not too much and popping a foil cap on. With all the time this has taken, my normal Nespresso coffee could be dispensed, and I could be sitting down enjoying it.But for those of you that want to save a few pounds and enjoy maybe a ground filter coffee you have discovered and enjoy, they are a great idea, and you could always buy more capsules to build up a daily or weekly stock.In the handy presentation box, you get 2 aluminium pods, 6 silicone ring seals, a brush, a measuring tool, which you can also use to tamper (push) down the coffee grounds and 120 disposable foil caps. You also get basic instructions for use, but they are only basic.They are very easy to use, it’s a bit trial and error getting your contents and tampering (pushing)down of the coffee grounds correctly, but you get there in the end. Worked fine in my Pixie machine, although the pod was a little difficult to push in, as you feel some resistance that you don’t feel with other pods, but just pull the handle down and it will slip in place.You will need to make sure that you remove any glue residue from the rim of the pod, when you remove the old foil, as I find it gets left behind. I just use my fingernail to run around the outside. If you don’t clean the glue off, the next time you use it, the next foil may not stick on correctly and the whole pod fail in the machine.A video is offered via a QR code, to help you.Great to use for your favourite coffee, that you cannot normally get in capsule form.

Got these as I have a lot of coffee beans and ground cofffee about, having moved backto a Nespresso system for ease these have given me back the fun of trying out different coffee beans etc.I would make sure you set expectations as these won’t hold as much coffee as a proper pod so just factor this in and you will be pleasantly surprised

Too messy really, i would need at least 12 for my family if we all have a coffee each it’s really hot to take out empty and refill

Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised at how well these work in terms of creating a usable, recyclable pod. They are easy to fill, press down and apply the foil lid. I've had no issues with the clamp not coming down properly on the machine or the foil lid coming off. The issues I have found are that you can't really make these up in advance because the perforations in the bottom of the aluminium casing allow air and moisture into the coffee and spoil it, so you really need to prepare the pods immediately before you make the coffee. The other, and most annoying issue for me, is the very weak brew it produces. I've tried all sorts of ways to combat this but in the end I allow the machine to run for part of its espresso cycle, pop another pod in and repeat - so two pods to obtain one fairly decent strength brew.

I ordered two of these packs in order to have some spares ready to use.They are well made from stainless steel but regrettably just don’t work as they should.The capping doesn’t stick so the coffee grounds fall out everywhere and it’s a real faff to fill the pods.A great idea but just not viable.

Had these for 3 weeks works well

this is a set of 2 refillable espresso capsule, it’s nespresso compatible so it can be used in all nespresso coffee machine; pods are made of stainless steel, seals are self adhesive so they seal ground coffee pretty well, however there are plenty of holes at the pod base, need to use the pod asaphonestly filling the pods was a bit messy as their mouth are really small, tools (scoop and brush) are included, but it’s still hard to fill up the pod easilythe seal is secure, it prevents leak from the mouth and allow all pressure push coffee out from the bottom, coffee came really smooth with itcoffee made was as good as original from espresso machine, however it was bit too much work for 2 brews, prepare and wash; these refillable pods are pretty useful when you don’t have a proper espresso machine and you really want your special brew made with a nespresso machineall in all, i’m happy with this product, would recommend
