Good hammer, minor issues, but still solid.
(EDIT ~2 years after purchase: 'The little hammer that could'. It's helped assemble a few AR receivers. Whacked several stubborn roll pins into submission. Tapped in oodles of well-behaved roll pins, too. It's never marred anything and the brass tip is hard enough for 'serious' work, while still soft enough that it won't damage Al receivers if (God forbid) you make a mistake.Threadlocker (blue only) makes the difference between tips that come loose or a solid & functional tool.As it turns out, my concern RE: its rather small size/weight was unwarranted. You don't need or want a 16oz hammer to work on guns - the little hammer is perfectly sized and has plenty of heft to do gunsmithy stuff.I'd gladly buy the same little hammer all over again.)A very nice little hammer for the cost. It is smaller than I expected, but I didn't perform my due diligence in confirming it's size prior to purchase. It will definitely do the job. Two minor issues:1). Some people note that the tips can back out, unscrewing from the hammer itself. Blue-colored Loctite or other brands of threadlocker will prevent the unscrewing tips from driving the user nuts.2). The tips are steel, brass, rubber, and nylon. The rubber and nylon are practically indistinguishable from one another, and are UNLABELED.I am happy w/ it, and look forward to using many times.

Great for the Price
I was a little suspicious. but figured worth it especially for 4 heads nylon/brass/steel/rubber. Used it yesterday on a M1A trigger group and it's great, perfect size and better deal than the 1 inch headed one Brownells sells. The heads on this one are 5/8" wide, which for me is better. On a new M1A with a stubborn op rod the rubber head is great to have for light tapping too. Head/s can come loose, but just use Teflon tape or blue Loctite (a TINY SMUDGE) which takes care of it. Not sure where/if can get replaceable heads as there was no order form shipped with it so will have to find out. Just REMEMBER - this is NOT a dead blow hammer. Use it for it's intended purpose. This will get plenty of use for all guns/calibers.

Good for light hammering work. Frame is lightweight.
I bought this hammer after going down the Amazon rabbit-hole from originally looking to replace my Wheeler 1" Nylon/Brass hammer (ASIN B004LB7ZU2). The nylon head of that hammer had disintegrated and unfortunately their heads were not replaceable. This hammer, which I was fixed on the fact it came with two sets of replaceable Nylon/rubber ends, was only $8 and looked identical to the Wheeler, so it had to be the obvious cost effective replacement. Yes it didn't have the brass side, but i would use the busted wheeler hammer for that side only. The part I failed to notice was the type of work it recommend - jewelry. The frame of the hammer is lightweight (5 oz) compared to the Wheeler (8oz), which makes sense for jewelry. If you need a heavy hammer with a nylon end, this isn't it. But I see the allure using it for light work. But that begs the question as to why you actually need another set of ends if you are only doing light work. If you use the hammer to move stuck objects, then yes you may damage the ends, however the frame is not weighted enough to make this a viable tool for that job. You use a teaspoon to move small sized piles. You use a shovel to move larger sized piles, even though you could move it with a teaspoon. This hammer is the teaspoon.Quality appears to be fine enough for $8 so I'm keeping it, but I'm probably going to have to buy another Wheeler hammer for my actual need of that hammer.

Great hammer for delicate items
Came with a multitude of striking heads. Great for small jobs, where a light touch is needed. Would have helped me years ago if I spend the money. Great for roll pins and the like. Stop marking up and ruining roll pins and buy this

Does the job.. its a hammer not a scalpel.
It worked as intended, no issue with missing heads or head alignment. For the price paid - works as needed. Hammered hardened punches on rust-frozen pins on a pistol rebuild. I was afraid of breaking the punches. Brass head worked well in that situation and I would recommend it to the hobbyist gunsmith or anyone that would have to do roll or other pin work. I used the translucent polymer head to set one pin in place and zero damage on the slide's finish.Well worth the low price. I would re-buy if this were to wear-out.

In Comes with an Aluminum Head NOT !!! STEEL ???
I Just received My Hammer with 4 Heads. In one of the reviews a reviewer Named Adam · February 2, 2017, said that it comes with a Steel Head ? I does not come with a Steel Head !!! It's an Aluminum Head along with a Brass Head and two other Heads ! I like the Hammer even through 3 of the Heads don't Aline up with the Head Unit on top of the Handle. The workmanship is VERY GOOD for the PRICE I PAID FOR THE SET-UP !!! I'd Buy it Again.

Ehh
I got my hammer today for the money I’d say it’s decent and will get the job done. However the hole for the hammer head on one side is not centered which leaves a sharp edge so if you had to be close to something it may scratch the object. Also the handle was torn just like a piece about 1/4 inch along the top. This is just a sample of one so it may just be a fluke. Other than that the heads feel to be similar with the black head being barely harder. In conclusion if you want something to be perfect I’d say spend a little more money but if your like me and will probably rarely use it and don’t care if it’s not perfect then this is your hammer.
