Exceeded expectations
This desk is exactly what I needed. Its extremely sturdy and a great material. The way the desk came packaged says a lot about the companies pride in the product; it was extra protected and neatly packed. Set up instructions were understandable and is not difficult for one person to set up by themselves. The moving feature is quiet and smooth. I had an incident when I was bringing the table down and I caught the side of another table and the movement of the desk stopped, protecting both the desk and the table. I believe it was worth every penny and have recommended it to my friends.

The only L-shaped electric standing desk I could find at this size
I used to think that it wasn't going to be possible to get a standing desk for my current office setup, as I have quite a bit of equipment that requires a large desk. Almost all standing desks out there are the same--just a regular rectangle shape, roughly the same size. The few that I could find that were L-shaped were too small for my needs. But then I found this option, and so far I'm very happy with it. It's nice and big, which allows me to fit everything that I need on it with room to spare. The electric adjustment functionality so far has worked perfectly as well. It's not as quiet as some other ones that I've used at my office, but it functions fine and is easy to program and use.The material is what you would expect. A metal frame with a fake wood top--I think particle board with a laminate over that. It seems sturdy enough, and has allowed me to mount various accessories to the underside for storage and cable management. You will need to assemble the product, and it's a bit of a project, so prepare for a couple hours of assembly to get this thing ready to go. However, even the moderately handy will be able to assemble it without too much trouble.I've had the desk for several months now, and it has performed flawlessly in that time. We'll see how it continues to hold up, but so far I'm very satisfied and highly recommend this particular model of desk.

Sturdy and very well packaged.
First of all, the packaging for this was very solid. It uses the good kind of packing material and the box came with corner protectors as well. Despite the fact that one of the boxes (it comes in two boxes) was damaged, the internals were so well packaged that I couldn't find anything wrong. The desk is a single motor L-shaped desk that was relatively easy to install, did so in about 30 min. I assembled it using an electric driver and a manual driver with varying hex and phillips heads. No drilling needed. I did not do the method of turning it over and assembling it onto the top upside down and instead turned the legs over once I had them assembled and placed the top and screwed it down from under the desk. This likely saved me on time.So far it is very sturdy. The motor is relatively quiet (quieter than the fan in the same room) and takes about 20 seconds or so to go from bottom to top. I thought I would have a problem with the speed but it's actually been fine and I don't mind it at all.The desktop also sits on rubber gromets at each screw point to absorb vibrations though I haven't actually encountered any vibrations to worry about. Overall, the desk has been solid so far and is plenty of room for 3 monitors, a laptop and my desktop with enough room still for a 36 in x 40 x desk mat. This desk doesn't come with any other accessories like cup holders or headphone mounts, but I kinda like that since I never had faith in those cup mounts and the headphone mounts I've seen are in set positions.

Time consuming assembly, but totally worth it. May need your own drill!
I absolutely love this desk. The assembly was rough, but it was worth it. I don't use the up and down function a lot, but it seems to work very well. This is very sturdy. I have a heavy monitor, heavy monitor arm, heavy laptop arm, laptop and cable tray with large power strip all attached to the shorter side. The all white version is a very clean look and really makes the room look bigger than the black desk it replaced, even though that desk was actually smaller. The amount of desk space is a nice upgrade for me. If you like to have the front of your arms rest on the desk while you type there's plenty of space, and the adjustable height means you can get it at the perfect level for ergonomic comfort. The directions for this aren't as helpful as I would have liked. I thought it seemed straightforward at first but we got stuck on how to move forward at one point. Once I realized there's an assembly video online, that was very helpful. We were able to finish up fairly quickly after that but had to keep pausing and replaying parts of the video. It would have been much more helpful to have the person in the video explaining what they were doing while you watch.I looked at the instructions before I bought this. It doesn't say it, but most of the holes you need on the bottom are not pre-drilled. It says you only need a screwdriver, but we couldn't get in the screws that didn't have holes for them. I don't have a drill, so we used a sharp ice-pick type tool with a hammer to put in holes where we needed to put the screws into. This worked out fine, but I don't know what I would've done if it hadn't.I'm sure some people could do this assembly without help with no problem, but I think it would take a good chunk of time. Even with two people, because of the issues following the directions, I think it took us about four hours. I never expected to spend that much time on it.I had a friend helping me. I'm disabled and there were some things I knew I wouldn't be able to do on my own, though I could do some of it without help. You will probably need help to assemble this if you can't spend much time crouching or on your knees, can't look up from underneath the desk while crouching or laying on the floor, or can't lift more than 30 or so pounds. Because of how big it is I also needed help to move it exactly where I wanted when we were done.Overall I'm really happy with the purchase. This would have been a five star rating if the instructions had been more clear.
