Works surprisingly well
EDID support is actually not bad, will take a display port to hdmi cable as input, worked for .... 4 months now daily?I had some issue with it at one point but that may have been an input one. Swapping to hdmi only for 3 of the 4 inputs (one I had to keep as dp to hdmi I only have 1 hdmi out on that gfx card) seems to have resolved that.Daily driving at 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 with no issues, including gaming at 60hz haven't noticed any lag or tearing.

So Far So Good
This was purchased to replace another unit that was also purchased on Amazon. Although the other unit worked reasonably well, after approximately a year it started to play up, main problems were caused on the power side, with the unit ruining its 5v power adapter. So I needed to replace.This unit fitted my requirements perfectly, and is a much smaller footprint to the one it replaced. One thing to note if using a single dongle for wireless mouse and keyboard, plug this into the mouse slot, else you might find your wireless keyboard and mouse will not work. So, as the review suggests - so far, so good but I will back to update if it does not live up to expectations!

Description is inaccurate

So, what is it? There should be these cables or not?

Does the job.
Wanted to switch between my work laptop and my home desktop quickly and this does a great job. I have the work laptop running through the HDMI port and the desktop through the DP and at one press of a button, I can switch between the two easily so they use the same keyboard, mouse and monitor. I also have a few other devices shared too via a USB 3.0 port hub.

Works as advertised.
Impressed, works well, quick to change over and just works as you would expect it to.

Disconnecting issue
It’s been three months and now the product isn’t working - my all of my peripherals randomly disconnect every 5-10 minutes

Terrible design
The cables don't go all the way in and as such I have to orient the KVM in a certain way for it to work.It's very disappointing as if it was well made it'd be great.

Avoid if you would like a working solution
I’ve had the product for a few months now and every now and again my keyboard and mouse just seem to disconnect. It can get very frustrating will be looking to purchase a different kvm switch as this one doesn’t seem fit for purpose
