fantastica musica classica italiana moderna
I think this fellow is great. Fantastic music. I haven't listened to the cd. Would rather play how I feel the mood and from what I have heard from the horse's mouth. Highly recommended. GRAZIE MILLE

Really nice book.
Even the modestly accomplished guitarist (not beginner) will get something out of this book. The CD is worth listening to too a few times to get a feel for the songs. The tabs are very useful especially if you are not completely sure which position would be the best to play a certain section in. There is a good mix of level material here, I haven't explored the entire book yet but have really enjoyed the 3 or 4 songs i've looked at in the book.Great to come across some nice contemporary material for the classical guitar!

This is an absolutely amazing book of music
This is an absolutely amazing book of music, It was originally piano music but has been transcribed for the classical guitar, it also has the treble clef sheet music but if you are like me and cannot read treble clef, It also has the tab as well. It comes with an accompanying cd which helps a lot. The cd sounds great and sometimes I even just listen to it as music as opposed to a learning aid. I highly recommenced this as an upgrade from beginner.

Something a little different...
Excellent value - the CD stands on its own, with some super playing by Matt Cowe in lovely transcriptions of Einaudi's work. The sheet music is great; as another reviewer has said, they are not beginners pieces and some of the fingering is very tricky, but they're really worth persevering with. I changed some of the finger suggestions, but that's not unusual, and I'm having a lot of enjoyment learning them. I learned classical guitar, but also thoroughly enjoy playing other genres as well, and I thoroughly recommend this for intermediate and above guitarists. Hope this whets your appetite!

Some good pieces
Definitely need to be a proficient player to do these pieces justice. The arrangements work well but there pages of music due to lines of tablature beneath the notation.

I love playing Einaudi on the piano and wished I could ...
I was thrilled when I saw this available. I love playing Einaudi on the piano and wished I could learn it on the classical guitar. I ordered it immediately. I love that it's not too easy, in fact some of the pieces are quite a challenge and it sounds so much like the piano it's a joy to learn.

Einaudi has my heart <3
Beautiful beautiful collection and perfectly transcribed into classical guitar! Some pieces are quite hard and definitely for the more experienced player but I do enjoy a challenge!!

Some excellent tunes
Normally when you buy a book of sheet music from one composer there are a few good pieces and several weak ones. Not this book. Every piece is an Einaudi classic and the CD is excellent. I recommend you just enjoy listening to the CD before you even start to play the tunes.

Very good
Overall, this is a very good book to own. I can't claim to be a huge fan of Ludovico Einaudi, but I do like much his work. I'm guessing purists might find the guitar arrangements are not all perfectly in line with the original works, but I find them good for the most part. Frankly, unless a piece is composed for guitar, compromises are necessary, and then one must judge whether the end result is musically acceptable. For the most part this effort succeeds, in my opinion. The fingerings and chord choices are definitely in line with what is typically done on guitar. This is both good and bad - bad because it changes the original music somewhat and good because it is playable on guitar without causing injury with crazy chord fingerings.I can't agree with the other reviewer that said this is advanced level. I think it is mostly intermediate level with a few exceptions here and there. Any difficult sections can be simplified or re-fingered if necessary. It always takes work to get any piece up to performance level, and there is no exception here. But, there is nothing here that an intermediate player could not have reasonable control over in a few weeks of practice. I think even talented beginners could try many of the pieces and, with dedicated effort over several months, find themselves at an intermediate level before they would expect it. This, of course, applies only to finger-style guitarists or classical guitarists. An intermediate player that uses a pick primarily is not going to find this easy.
