I have watched this cartoon with my son for years. He was so excited when they started releasing the Funko Pops for it. We are just waiting on the rest to be released. Great price. Awesome Funko and Pin!

Continuing on with Avengers 60th anniversary, Funko has produced its third Pop in honor of the occasion, Black Panther. I love the previous two Pops, so I’ve decided I’m going to collect the remaining line. And sadly, this third release in the series takes a dip that I hope is not a sign of the remaining Avengers. The figure follows the same 60th anniversary Pop follows the same guidelines as the Iron Man and Thor before it with the same type of box design, the pin, and the “Retro Series” of Pops that use shadowing effect akin to the comic books of the 60s/70s vibe to add layers of color and ink. It’s the big reason why I want them as the Retro Series style of art really makes all the difference in appeal for me compared to other repaints of the Pop line. Black Panther is in his action pose ready to pounce. Overall neat figure. But whereas I gave Thor and Iron Man the 5-star passing review, I’m giving this a moderate 3-stars. My biggest question here is the pricing compared to the previous (and following Pops) after this one particular figure. I know Funko pricing has gone up a little bit due to their company finances, but why this particular figure? The Black Widow figure that is to be released is priced like Thor and Iron Man at $20.99 base price. Why is this $4 more? And considering BP is so basic in design compared to Thor and Iron Man. If you look at my photos, they matted/muted Panthers Pop compared to Iron Man and Thor. His materials doesn’t look as pristine as the other two, as if inferior in production. The Funko 60th Anniversary Pop and Pin line continue to be well done, but this one of Black Panther is questionable. It’s arguably a weaker mold, a weaker overall pose, and it’s pricier for no reason. Unless this goes down in price, I’d suggest skipping this Pop. I don’t know why this is a lesser Pop compared to Thor and Iron Man, but I really hope this isn’t a sign for the rest of the figures.

I was worried about the pin but it very well made . The pop is great and has the old school comic look to it .

Box was badly damaged. Packaging was not damaged, hence it was boxed as a damaged item! Very bad.
