My dogs love this product.

They have a triple purpose.... they can be used alone as a meal, a reward treat, and a dog food topper. I've never used them alone as a meal because it's great to have them as a reward. They store well. I love this brand and so does my shihtzo.

I hesitated to buy because I have tried so many foods for my Malshi babies. From vet recommended food, to grain free, to very expensive, highly rated food- they turn their noses up/ sometimes refusing to eat anything. I got this and put one in warm water. As it was dissolving- I heard them running down the hall. I almost didn’t make it to the food bowls because they were jumping up at the dish it was in. It smells horrible! But not to them. They are barely two years old, and I have never seen them enjoy a meal this much. They gobbled it up so fast, I gave them another one, and then had to actually hide the bag it came in because they sat and barked at it. I know it’s pricey/ and if I was feeding it to a large dog, I’d consider it as a topper, but watching them devour this and then fall asleep was worth every penny. I just ordered two more bags. I would definitely put it in warm water to dissolve/ it is very dense- but it’s a must try for dogs that just won’t eat

My little ten pound dog's main food is Orijen Small Breed kibble which is the best kibble on the market. I saw this freeze dried product and decided to give it a try as a topper for the dry food. Tamiko loves it and I feel better about giving him an additional boost of protein. The first eight ingredients of this freeze dried food are animal proteins. Most foods that advertise themselves as being the best usually only have one or two protein sources Yes, you can buy less expensive food for you dog but for a little more money you can rest assured that you are doing your best to keep your best friend healthy. Tamiko is ten years old and the vet's always comment about his great condition.
